Excellent and Surprisingly Compatible
I will try to make this short as there is no shortage of positive reviews for this excellent shock mount. It is common to see someone state the excellent build quality of this, but the reason I am writing this review is for the people who have BLUE microphones. Most Blue microphones do not have the normal condenser mic threading. Therefore, most people think they need to purchase the annoyingly overprice $99 S3 sold by Blue. THIS IS NOT THE CASE. After a bit of research I learned that Samson mics have unorthodox threading as well so I decided to give this puppy a shot. Lo and behold, this fit my Blue Spark Digital (USB version of the Blue Spark condenser microphone) absolutely perfectly. I was able to save over $70 (let alone this shock mount is actually nicer looking) and get my amazing Blue Spark Digital on my Rode desk arm effortlessly. My setup is now complete. Thank you Samson for the amazing product.

Works Great with my MXL V67G After a Very Minor Modification
I had read another review in here from someone using this with the MXL V67G after popping out the existing mounting ring with a flat blade screwdriver, so I took a chance and ordered one for myself. That guy was 100% correct! I just popped out the existing mounting ring with a flat blade and my V67G slipped right in and could be tighly secured using the black mounting ring supplied with the V67G. I had read a lot of negative reviews about the MXL shockmount for this microphone so I didn't want that one. This shockmount bears a striking resemblance to the MXL 890 shockmount that came standard with my 890 vocal mic and with the same quality of construction. The price is definitely more than fair for what you get here! So... If you have an MXL V67G order with confidence! I would say that this would be a much better choice than the MXL alternative. I was also blown away how fast Amazon got this thing to me! I ordered it last night and it showed up on my front porch this afternoon!

Great Shockmount!! IT WORKS WITH ANY MIC STAND!!
I recently bought an Audio Technica 2020 and was looking for a shockmount for it, I bought the one that Audio Technica makes and I was not satisfied with the quality, so I returned it and came across the Samson SP01. My first thought was that it looked just like the shockmount I have for my Neumann TLM 103. I immediately purchased it after seeing that people were using it with the AT 2020. As soon as it arrived I put my AT 2020 in it and it looked stunning, after I mounted it on my on-desk mic stand I bumped the table a few times to see how it worked. In short it works great, The SP01 isolates the mic extremely well. I also tested the shockmount with my Studio Projects C1 and Rode k2 (both very heavy mics) and it works great. One word of advice it seems that some people are having problems hooking this shockmount to their mic stand ( which I find extremely amusing). Like most shockmounts the Samson SP01 has an adapter that is too small for most US mic stands already in the mount ( the part where the shockmount connects to the mic stand). THIS IS EASY TO REMOVE!! All you have to do is take a coin and unscrew it!! Once you unscrew the adapter the shockmount will connect to your stand.

good inexpensive shock mount
works great. much better build quality and more absorption than the cheap $10-15 generic chinese shockmounts on amazon. the finish isn't perfect around where the joints on the metal are, but for the $ you cant beat it. i'm going to paint it to match the rest of my setup anyway, so a little sanding to get it perfect is no big deal. my AT2020 rotates/spins freely in it when fully tightened to the base. if you want to prevent this and keep the microphone from spinning you need to install one of these into the base before mounting the microphone: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07K88Q7LS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 this ring fits perfectly, looks factory, prevents movement of the mic, and is rubber so it wont scratch the base or microphone.

G Track Pro Compatible (w/ effort)
No one really supports the G Track Pro condenser mic officially, so I took a chance with this shockmount after looking at reviews and browsing numerous forums. The mount itself seems well put together, but the paint finish on the metal pieces leaves a little to be desired. It makes the mount look cheap, when it is in-fact very sturdy. This thing does not give. As I mentioned before, the G Track Pro is not officially supported, but it does fit. After 20 minutes of intense frustration, I just took the knobs off the G Track Pro and slid the mic in to screw it on. With a careful touch and flathead screwdriver, this is extremely painless. Once I had installed it into the mount, I put the knobs back on the mic. It is important to note that the microphone will not be perfectly aligned with anything on the mount. It must sit in-between the inner supports to actually fit once you’ve screwed it on. This looks a little funny, but ultimately doesn’t matter. The sound I get is much better as it doesn’t pick up my mouse on the desk as much, and certainly isolated the desk moving or any other weird thing that can move the mic while playing a game or using it to record music or other audio. With a careful hand you can take your G Track Pro from the desk to a mic arm and really elevate your audio for a stream or for studio recording. I recommend the product completely once I overcame that initial barrier.
