FotodioxLens Adapter - Compatible with Tamron Adaptall II Lens Mounts to MFT Micro 4/3 Four Third Mirrorless Cameras

I have an Olympus OMD EM10 -- which I love. It's just the right amount of camera for me, as I'm strictly a hobbyist and will likely never graduate to amateur. However, one of the (many) selling points of the Olly was that you could purchase various adapters for it & use old film lenses.A year or so ago I found a Tamron telephoto lens from 1982. I've never heard of a Tamron brand camera, so I assumed the lens probably fit a Canon or Nikon or other popular brand. I took the lens to a camera shop and spoke to a Tamron sales rep; he was thrilled to see my "antique" and laughed a little. He told me to forget about finding an adapter, they didn't exist and probably never would.Fast forward to a couple weeks ago when I was getting ready to recycle my useless lens. I googled it and the Adaptall2 that was already attached to it. Eventually my search led me here. This adapter costs more than I paid for the lens, but at least I could return it if it didn't work out.To my surprise -- this adapter fits -- but not with the Adaptall2. It attaches directly to the lens. The connection is perfect and tight. I'm thrilled.So even though it's unlikely that I'll ever come across another Tamron lens, I've finally been enjoying the one I do have.

Good fit and works as expected. I would prefer that they put the red alignment dot on the side rather than the bottom so it could be seen while trying to mount on the camera.

Well made and gives new life to my old Adaptall 300mm f5.6 lens. The attachment to the lens is actually a bit lens finicky than the OEM Adaptall FD mount and in typical Fotodiox fashion, it clicks securely on to the M43 mount on my Panasonic. If you ar looking to use your old glass on an M43 camera, I highly recommend this adapter.

Like all the other Fotodiox adapters I have bought, this works exactly as it should and at a reasonable price. The adapter fits precisely to my camera and to my Tamron Adaptall lens, mounting and dismounting without needing force and clicking into place without any free play. It fits just as neat as the original Tamron OM mount I own. I have bought many Fotodiox adapters in various mounts and they are cheap enough to leave them permanently mounted to each lens. Not one has given any problems.

I am using this adapter with my Tamron Adaptall 2 135mm/F2.5 and 35-80mm/F2.8-3.8 lenses with my Olympus OMD camera.This mount is designed for using an Adaptall lens in manual focus mode. The camera needs to be set to "Aperture Priority" (A) mode. The aperture is set using the aperture ring on the lens.In summary this lens mount works as it should with a micro-four thirds camera (Olympus Pen or Panasonic Lumix).The build quality is excellent and my pictures come out sharp.

It works! I am using this with a Tamron 90mm macro on my OM-D and it works perfectly. The tolerances are nice and tight and the images are great! I have a fotodiox adapter for Canon FD and for Nikon and they all work great!

Excellent buy, allows me to use some of my older Tamron lens such as the 500mm mirror for wildlife photographry

Did just what it was designed to do. Tried it with a couple of Nikon mount lenses on my Olympus EP-1 and it worked just fine. Quality of workmanship (from an unknown manufacturer) is quite good.

This adapter serves it’s purpose perfectly. It’s well made, and the fit at both ends is spot on, unlike others I’ve tried in the past. It also looks nice cosmetically, which is always a bonus.I bought it to attach a vintage Tamron lens to my Panasonic camera. Sadly that lens didn’t live up to my expectations. But in principle was great, as even without electronic connection, focus peaking still functions on the camera. Just need to find a better lens now.

I bought two of these, one for a Tamron 300mm and another for a Tamron Macro Zoom.Nice snug fitI can now use these old lenses again on my old Olympus E-PL2 body.It is just a shame that they are sent from the USA rather than having stock in the UK. This means you have to wait a few extra days. However, the seller has this prominently displayed so cannot be faulted.I also have bought a micro four thirds OM lens adapter from the same company which also works well.Reliable company and products

This is a well-made all-metal adaptor. It has no moving parts. It replaces the Canon FD Adaptall adapter and for me this makes fitting my Tamron 90mm f2.5 macro lens to a Lumix/Olympus M43 camera very simple.

This is a great product that allows me to use old Tamron Adaptall lenses on my new Panasonic Lumix GH4. It came from the US but the delivery time was still pretty good.

Was not sure what to expect as I wanted a macro lens for my Lumix G3 but did not want to spend a fortune. I bought an old Tamron macro lens and the adapter. The lens fitted the adapter without any problems and no problems attaching to the G3.
