A great connection for hydraulic systems
I use this as part of a hydraulic system (I am taking JIC to mechanical pipe thread) and I fully recommend them. Quick arrival time and great quality

Made in china-bad threads
Had this for a long time before getting to my project-installed and female fitting threads poor quality and couldn’t get a tight seat on the male tapered part.One star as a paperweight-so frustrating..spent money and time and project still not fixed-looking for made in America now

Solid and well built
I bought this fitting to use in a vacuum line assembly rather than a more typical hydraulic pressure system and it worked perfectly. Ideally I would have preferred a flare fitting with an integrated o-ring but those are very difficult to find so I decided to try this one.The fit and finish of this fitting is good. It mated perfectly with the male end and was vacuum tight after tightening by hand. Considering that it is stainless steel the price was reasonable. I would recommend this fitting.
