MusiclilyFlat Profile Metal Guitar Humbucker Pickup Mounting Rings, Chrome(2 Pieces)

I ordered these because they were the only flat gold-plated metal pickup rings I could find that were Gibson-sized, rather then the now more common slight longer 92mm x 46 mm size which all the others seem to be. They needed to be this size to replace some 30-year old rings where most of the plating had worn off .But the tops of the rings are all rough with either dirt or corrosion underneath, just very bumpy and noticeable form several feet away. They will not be fitted and are being returned.

Material is good but1 they're not sloped so the pickup ends up sitting parrellel to the guitar rather than to the strings. This is no good on a Les Paul, for which these mounts are supposedly made.2 the holes for screwing to the body do not match up. These mounts are marginally less wide than originals so you'll need to drill.

These seem to be a decent quality item and look good on the guitar, unfortunately they are slightly smaller than the original rings on my Epiphone SG, which means I need to plug the original screw holes and re-drill for these rings.
