Fantastic leather NATO strap...great quality and attention to detail.
The whole point of NATO straps is twofold: security on the wrist and easy to change. This gorgeous leather NATO strap does both and does it well. The handmade leather and stitching is beautiful and carefully done. But keep in mind that this is a LEATHER strap...so it will never be as durable as ballistic nylon...this is just a simple fact. But, for office environments, it looks great on my Rolex Sea Dweller and works very well in this environment. But when I hit the wild outdoors, I swap it for one of my DaLuca ballistic nylon NATO straps. If this is also your plan, you cannot do better than this fantastic leather strap.

Fantastic Craftsmanship & Style!
I can't say how much I like this strap. I bought a less costly strap from a different manufacturer originally and was disappointed with the quality. Someone once told me "I'm too poor to buy low quality things." Buy a DaLuca strap first and don't pay two times like me. Fantastic quality and value. Amazing style and craftsmanship.

What did I miss? The crazy cost!
This product was sent back. It was a for a watch that I sent back. That been said, I did order it without looking at the price. Ok. Ok. So when it arrived I said to myself this must be one absolutely higher end band. It is not. The picture is nice and the picture is different and cool, but in the end you will get exactly what you get in the $25 range. Nothing about this is worth the price.

Beautiful but stretches out A LOT!
Beautiful love the look and color. Be aware the leather is extremely stretchy. Way more than I anticipated.

Exquisite NATO Strap
This is a truly beautiful NATO-style watch strap. The leather is extremely pliable and soft. Of course, the hand-rubbed Horween Chromexcel will show scratches and scuffs—all part and parcel of its refined ruggedness. Time will tell whether the supple softness of this leather is also its undoing: the strap is thin, and likely prone to stretching. The waxed-linen stitching looks great, with an attractive "around the sides" pattern.Keeping with the NATO design, the strap is long (meaning it can be worn over a sleeve). When worn on the wrist (as the majority of us will always), lots of left-over strap extends past the buckle. It seems the conventional approach is to fold this extra strap under itself, which works fine. I often prefer to wrap the extra length in the opposite direction: around the first ring, then under the second. However, the band is only finished on one side; the reverse is raw. So my approach exposes the band's raw underside.Another aspect of the NATO design is that two parallel straps pass under the watch. While the strap passing through the case's spring bars serves to retain the watch in case one of the bars fails, the second strap serves a different purpose. This bottom strap prevents the watch from sliding out of position on the wrist, by retaining the case between the stitching at the buckle (top) end, and the ring below the watch (where the bottom strap terminates). On this strap, those two points are much further apart than is typical; the bottom strap is longer than usual. This may defeat the purpose of that bottom strap, and allow the case to slide along the strap's length, especially if worn loosely. That said, there may be an aesthetic rationale to this design, especially when wearing larger-diameter watches: it allows those rings to sit on the sides of one's wrist, rather than the top. (With very large cases, that can create a clumsy look.)All in all, I am very happy with this strap, and recommend it.

Soft, supple, and looks nice. However, almost too soft and thin for serious use.
Purchased for my Sinn 104St. As it is a high-quality timepiece, I wanted to be sure to provide it with a strap of equal quality, especially if I am going the "NATO" route (more later). I am a professional photographer and when on assignment I bring only this timepiece so I wanted a strap which would look nice as well as I will be wearing it for several days, in a variety of social settings.I was surprised by how soft the leather was when I opened the package. No problems at all with installing the strap either (by-the-way, use a spring tool to protect the finish of your timepiece). No blemishes in the leather; stitching was both neat and solid. No problems were encountered until I needed to use it at the longer lengths. The main reason for purchasing a strap this long is so you have the ability to wear it over other garments (cold weather in my case). When I am working at night, creating long exposures, I need to dress warm and I need to manually time my exposures. Once I used this strap the first time, over the top of my shell, I found that the strap had significantly stretched and now felt "thin". Yes, this is leather. Yes, I expect some stretching. However, it continued to stretch on each subsequent use. I am now wearing the strap two holes "tighter" than when I started. There are not any night assignments on my schedule right now so I do not know if the strap will continue to stretch or not. If it does and especially if it becomes a major issue, I will update this review.
