Bought these for some cubbies that I needed to be able to slide in and out from under a shelf. They were perfect for the application.

I'm in the process of putting adhesive sliders on all of my furniture. I like to move my furniture pretty regularly and I just don't have the strength anymore.When I received these I was a little concerned about how narrow they are. Today I finally had the opportunity to put these on a piece of furniture that I wanted to move. (I've also purchased a furniture lifter. Essentially a crowbar intended for use on furniture. That allows the lifting for installation.) I used the lifter to bring the piece off the floor just enough to get the slider underneath. I was working with a credenza so I put several around the base. once done the piece was very easy to slide. At one point I tipped the credenza up with one end of the carpet and discovered that the base was the same width as the sliders. I added additional sliders to the back of the base to make moving easy in the future. Once finished with that part of the task I brought the base back down and with the sliders it was amazingly simple to move into place.I will be purchasing more of these for book cases and a couple other pieces that I think these narrow sliders will work with. Not looking forward to moving all of those books out of the book cases but when I do I'm confident it will be worth the effort.

Applied these to an IKEA Full Size Bed that is in a carpeted room. The carpeting is regular, not super fluffy so not sure how the product would perform but in our case it works like a charm. I applied these sliders to all four sides of the "legs" since they were wide enough to accomodate. Instead of the bed's legs digging into the carpet when moving it to clean or vacuum now the bed slides easily with little effort. Protects the furniture from falling apart (It's IKEA afterall) now as the bed no longer digs into the carptet and no longer causes any stress and mounting points/hardware.The adhesive mounts applied easily and I applied some pressure with my thumb once I was happy with the placement of the slider. I applied roughly 24 of these tabs and it took very little time to do so.Now we are so happy with the results.Highly recommend this item.

I recently bought and put together a large, heavy, Sauder computer desk for use in a carpeted room. Without a smooth surface, the desk was impossible to move on carpet by myself so I bought these sliders to help with that. They work great! They are the perfect size, they apply easily, and stick on very well. I needed smaller pieces for a couple of spots so, using just a sharp box cutter and some muscle power, I cut one slider into two pieces. To avoid sharp corners getting caught on the carpet, I smoothed the cut edges a bit. I used a rotary sander but I think a heavy-duty emery board could do the job as well. I'm very pleased with the ease of use and performance of these little doodads and I'm very happy with my purchase. To top it all off, these were the best deal pricewise too.

A couple I tried did not stick well. The others seem to work just fine.Problem is I now have to chase my furniture around the room.My wife keeps re arranging things !Thanks for the great product at a super price.

We needed to move very heavy pieces of furniture. They did the trick. Just the right size for thr bottom of each piece. Thank you

I have a VERY heavy file cabinet in my classroom and used these to make it easy to maneuver around on the rug. Not using them on hardwood, so I can't rate that. So far they have stuck very well and made my life MUCH easier.

We purchased a sunroom dining table and chairs made of teak. The floor is carpeted and it didn't dawn on me that the chairs would not slide comfortably. I ended up purchasing these sliders to put on the feet of the chairs and table. Now the chairs and table slide freely and nicely. We liked them so much we put them on all of our chairs and other furniture in the sunroom. Makes it much easier to move everything when vacuuming. I would highly recommend this product.
