I tend to find that extendable boat hooks have an inherent weak link and that is the extendable mechanism! This is a fixed length lightweight boathook that appears reasonably robust, certainly for a small day boat user like me and is value for money. As for longevity when exposed to salt water only time will tell.

Got this to replace an extendable one which wasn't as sturdy as it should have been.To be fair it was one I'd had for a good few years.This one is light,sturdy and gives me confidence it will do its job under pressure.

Boot hooks are as described and do the job, however one of them arrived damaged. Still usable, too difficult to get replaced or just live with it. But disappointing.

Absolutely Amazing! It is very long (you can reach far objects with ease) and it is strong and hard and will last a long time. I definitely recommend this for people who are interested in similar products because this is the right one to get for boating or for reaching far objects with ease.

Perfect boat hook for my needs. Light and perfectly sized for keeping on the clips like have. Easy to catch what I need to, mooring or pontoon when required.
