A strong base
I was impressed, 12 feet tall 8 by 8 and this base would temporarily support the vertical post without extra bracing. Highly recommend. Looks good . We will see on the years to come how it endures the weather and sun .

Solid Bracket
Bracket was perfect for an interior 8x8 old Barn Beam installation. Easy to install and provides great support. Just pay close attention that you have the bottom and the top of the bracket identified. Easy to install upside down if you're not paying attention.
