I love this tape gun. I really love my garden but really hate tying up my tomatoes. Whilethe gun is sometime finicky, overall is really easy to use. It made the tomatoes easier to care for and therefore I am taking better care of them. I can’t recommend this enough. I have also used it with my cucumbers and peppers. Works great with them too!

Okay. I waited until I tired up 40 tomato plants several times to get a group on this product. I highly recommend it. First thing to know is IT IS NOT BROKEN. There is some digging with the upper tooth to'break it in' or smooth out the operation. It also takes time to get to know this machine. I really wanted this to work so I stuck with it and within the first day of extreme agitation and fidgeting with the upper tooth, learning how the tape machines opened up in 2 places to fill the tape, not 1 (staples face UP, not down like a regular stabler and just getting to know it, it was all worth it. This one is half the price. Just don't expect to go it in the garden on day one and start pinning things up. Be patient and it will reward you. Now I'm on my 3rd tying up session with 40 plants and an so glad I no longer have to hand tie. BIG, BIG TIME SAVER. You also get more arms tires up because it is so easy, rather than letting those lower arms go. It works great for my massive eggplant and pepper plants, too. I put 2 plants (of ANY is the above mentioned plants) and plant between 2 very tall (6'+) t-posts. I run bailing twine (Not jute it string. It breaks) along the t-posts and the come behind and afix the plants to the bailing twine. Hope all this helps. Just have patience. The upper tooth MUST BE in the up position and some but if tape must be forward for the tooth to grasp it. If the tooth gets stuck in the form posting, click it HALFWAY ONCE, and it should be ready for the next tie. I practices and now I'm just flying through my work.

Easy to figure out. However, the tape is a little flimsy. Nice device to have, it makes tying the tomato plants much faster. I usually use string.

I purchased this item in anticipation that when it came time to support my garden plants, I would have it available. I took it out to try it today since it is now active growing time and the item DID NOT WORK!!!!!!! It does not pick up the tape after a clip and just spits out the staples!!! I am so disgusted with this item because I feel I have been scammed!!! It’s active growing season and the return window is closed! How can Amazon allow their customers to be taken like this! I want some type of satisfaction from this seller!!!

This tool is great! Works exactly like it says and has supported my plants with ease. I have had to re-tape some areas because the sun (I live in Texas) has weakened the tape, but it is so easy to use it is not a problem.

I'm not even sure how to explain why it's difficult to use. It's a genius contraption, but isn't perfect. It takes me many tried to get a tie on right. Either I'm trying to get the tape in the thing set up right to use, or the tape tears as it wraps around something, or it just doesn't work.Tape is a smidge too flimsy and weak.Tape I do get around a plant properly works well! I've had a few successful pieces that are still on my plants and fencing a few weeks afterwards. However I'm not convinced it will hold much longer.

I've been through 5 rolls of tape and not had any issues. This tool saves a ton of time. I started 130 new grapevines this year and i wouldn't be able keep up with the pruning, training, and tieing without this tool. I saw some negative reviews on this and wasn't sure what to expect... but in about 1500 ties i've only had it misfire maybe 4 times where i had to un-jam it.

Works really well, we are going to love using this in our garden and to tie up our rasberry bushes and Concorde grapes.
