Super bag for a short barrel gun
Great bag for a short barrel gun! Fits my short barrel 12 gauge perfectly with much room to spare.Excellent padded protection of about 1/2 inch foam on each side. Sling is long enough for over the shoulder or neck and adjusts for any fit. Dual carry handle is strong and will Velcro together into one handle.Side pocket is actually 2-pockets not just one that is expandable to about 2-inchs, it is large enough to hold my Glock 17 and has Velcro straps to secure it! A large box of shotgun shells probably won't fit in the box, but should individually, plenty of room for magazines. Zippers appear to be strong and large enough to handle ruff treatment. Overall a very well made soft-carry case I'm sure to enjoy for years to come! The price was awesome compared to others I've seen. I will probably buy another for my son.Just be sure to check your guns measurement's before buying and allow for a little extra room! If you don't, no need to cry about your gun not fitting.I highly recommend this gun case for price, durability, and quality.

I like it very much, can't understand the poor ratings
It is well made, if you are expecting this to be like a Pelican case, you will not be happy. It is a padded, heavy denier nylon cloth, double slider zipper case with 2 zippered exterior pockets. I have no problem with the stitching , workmanship or materials. The inside usable length is 36 inches with the gun's muzzle and butt touching the zipper. This gun case is NOT designed for a AR platform rifle unless the distance from the bottom of the hand grip to the top of your scope or sights is less than 8 1/2 inches. My Marlin Model 15Y with a Simmons 22 Mag scope on medium height Weaver rings fits very well (with room to spare) being 33 1/2 inches long from muzzle to buttplate and 5 1/2 inches from bottom of the trigger guard to the top of the ocular bell of the scope at its longest dimension. Inside dimensions of the case is 36 x 8 1/2 inches, but I would not store a gun that was more than 35 inches in it.I'm considering ordering another, but longer case from NcSTAR VISM for another rifle of mine as it deserves a better case that the Allen (TM) product it is currently housed. I can't understand the the 3 star or less, review ratings.

Great Bag for range travel.
Very nice bag to take a Tac 14 type shotgun/firearm. I’m using it for a Remington Tac 14 Arm Brace which is around 33 inches. The bag is 36 inches and it’s a snug fit but the gun won’t be flopping around. Could have went with something that was 38 inches which would have been ok but 36 is good. If you have a firearm around 36 go with 38 or 40 inches.Side pocket is good for for shot shells or eye pro or smaller range accessories. Great sling to carry over shoulder. As far as potential durability. For what I’ll use it for travel back and forth to a range I’ll think it will be fine. Great bag for the price.

Works as intended
5 stars because its exactly what i needed. If you need a super durable bag for a pricey gun that will be tossed around a truck then spend the money. For me, i needed storage and something to carry a range toy to go shoot. Length and price point was perfect for my needs. Even fits my revolver and 2 wmr cylinders for each piece. Smaller zipper could fit a knife, oil, butterfinger or whatever else you'd need.

Great Value: NcStar 36" Black Rifle Case.
Good quality especially for the price. It has decent stitching, fat and sturdy zippers and a nice soft interior. Pricier bags would be made of heavier nylon, but I think this bag will last a long time anyways. You wouldn't know unless you felt them side by side. There are velcro retainers in the outside pocket that are kindof cheap looking. I might just cut them out because they aren't anchored very heavily and may eventually tear the inside of the pocket. The 36" bag is very short, but just right for an M-forgery. Not really suited for having a scope mounted on a short AR unless you have a "featureless" rifle, but if all you run is irons or a small scope it'll fit nicely. I totally recommend this case. 4 stars because there are better cases out there, but not for this price range. Fantastic deal.

Good quality case
This case was recieved new as expected. This is a good quality padded soft rifle case. My Stag Model 8, 5.56 fits, but just barely. I opted to go with this size case because I didn't want anything too huge. It fits. I have an EOTech holo sight mounted, which makes the fit "barely." If that was off it would fit easier, but it works and I'm good with it. With the EOTech, I cannot keep a mag locked in. But I store my rifle chambered and the mag fits in there next to it for easy access. The side pouch is large enough for 3-PMags, an extra box of Hornady TAP, a bore snake, and hex tool. That's what I have in there, anyway. Good quality case. If you have more accessories I'd definitely go with the larger size case.

Good case for a small rifle
Good fit for a Henry .22 carbine with red dot. Side pocket and shoulder strap are handy.

Perfect for a 34 inch rifle
I was a bit nervous about buying this but it turned out to be perfect for my 34 inch lever action 357. I love the pocket on it and the unit seems well made and sturdy. Great price too.
