This knife is very sharp, so be careful. You.must oil it after every use or it will rust. It takes a bit of getting used to, to use it like you probably use your other knives. It is big and the shape is different. The handle placement along with the double blade shape makes using it a slow process until you become familiar with it.

Last minute order for my sugar cane booth and it worked perfectly as it should! Just need to keep tightening the nut/bolt during use. Will be ordering again, Thanks!

The paring knife cuts unevenly, and requiring substantial force to use. When I tried to return, there was no response from the seller or Amazon after the timeframe Amazon indicated a response should be received. This is very different from my normal experience with returns of products sold by Amazon itself. The lesson here is to watch out for customer service reputation of third party sellers since there's no online process to ask Amazon to intervene.

Does exactly what I expected but I didn't realize I would have to use it in the opposite direction because I'm right-handed.

It works so well on peeling sugar canes. Love it!
