Nothing so fast. A first time…

A word of caution to anyone seeking bright white spotlights...This bulb was installed over my white ceramic kitchen sink and instantly cast a warm yellow glow on it. The sink now looks rather coffee-strained. I'll be returning these for something more suitable for our needs. We've trusted the Feit brand in the past, but these are advertised as "bright white" and "vivid natural light." They are neither and not suitable for any sort of task lighting. I would describe these as slightly over nightlight brightness.

I have installed these lights all over, especially in my barn. The energy saving is great but the only drawback is the light does not last as long as they say it does. They have cut down on my energy bill and I do not install any other bulb. I like the fact they are not that blue light that you do not get the brightness you want. These are nice and bright and well worth it.

What’s to say? It’s. Light bulb and it works. Flip the switch and you get instant photons in your eye balls.

I simply wanted dimmable LED replacements for 2 story high incandescent PAR 38 balcony down lights. This is the 2nd mfr I’ve tried but to no avail. And I usually trust Feit in making a good led conversion bulb which helps raise the benchmark but they failed on both color temp and dimmability with this bulb. Color temp accuracy as described in their advert isn’t silver blue but seems far from warm white,....more like bright popcorn white. —but the dimmability claim i must admit is a joke. Try maybe 3 very subtle steps down in brightness from severely bright to pretty bright with every decrement thereafter doing pretty much nothing. nothing despite staying on down to even 1%. This again confirms my doubts that the LED bulb is still not ready for prime time.

These are among the brightest and work great.
