Transporter Carry On Luggage

I was looking for a bag primarily for a three-week trip across Europe and I tested this bag. This has really great organizational features, a super durable exterior, and the unbeatable warranty from Osprey but for me it failed because the backpack straps were not meant for extended carrying (it got pretty uncomfortable after about 30 minutes). The pack also had no Daypack-attachment possibilities which was a negative for me in this situation but might not be a negative for someone else's needs. Ultimately, I went with the Osprey Porter 46 as it was the best fit for my needs.This bag was really similar to one of the first bags that I tried, Fjallraven's Travel Pack. Like the Fjallraven, the Transporter has pretty great organizing sections, has similar straps, and has a sleek look. Unlike the Fjallraven, this pack was far more durable, includes a (minimal) hip belt which really helps with weight distribution, and has a better warranty. This bag would be great for a traveler that doesn't need to fit a ton of stuff, prioritizes organization and aesthetics, and for someone who doesn't plan on carrying the bag more than 30 min at a time.FYI - Bags I also purchased and considered for the trip before choosing the Porter include Fjallraven's Travel Pack (not sufficient carrying support and lesser warranty), the Osprey Farpoint 55 (too large), the Osprey Transporter (insufficient carrying support), and the Osprey Farpoint 40 (good but the Porter fit my organizational needs better).

The bag is comfortable as a backpack and has enough space for everything with good organization. One star deducted for the front pocket that only opens 3/4 zip, a dumb design.

I bought this for long weekend and short trips and have to give it my genuine seal of approval. Locking ability for security, folds and packs away neatly. Holds about three days worth of casual wear and a pair of shoes comfortably, alongside some hardware.

Many compartments. The exterior seems durable. Happy with this so far as a "one-bag" carry-on option.

I don't travel a lot but I do need a bag that will last me for years. I used this in all of my recent trips and it was roomy and durable. The zippers work great as I stuffed it full and did hold pretty well. I think this bag is very well engineered.

This is a very nice travel bag. It is very spacious and has nice compartments for arranging your items. The shoulder straps are ok-padded. Nice features: a shoe compartment, an accessory compartment on top, very good clothes compartments. While there is a laptop compartment, it is not padded at all, so you would require a reliable hard padden case to fully protect your laptop. I'm used to large backpacks but this beats all my other large travel bags by size, so some people may find it a bit too much, but I like it.

I am in love with this backpack. You can fit soo much inside it, it’s perfect for travel and even better that it’s carry on size - you don’t need a bigger suitcase this can hold all necessary belongings for most trips!! I intend to take it to India with me. I also love the colour and material, feels really sturdy and durable. The many different pockets make organisation super easy and it’s beautifully designed. So glad that I bought it as I can use it for domestic and overseas travelling. I am quite short and so it is a better size for me than larger backpacks - however, my only criticism would be that the straps are quite loose and I wish they pulled tighter as the backpack sits on my bum rather than the small of my back which isn’t ideal comfort-wise. This wouldn’t be a problem if you are taller that 5’4. Even so, best luggage I have ever bought!!
