Follow Directions - 2 people are a plus when putting together
After taking the parts out of the box the build looked like it might be seem a little intimidating, but dont let that scare you. It was VERY well packaged. Follow instructions and no problem. Once you get past step 5 its pretty easy from there. Its a lot easier if you have an extra set of hands up to step 5 because one would have to hold all the parts in place so to cap and hold with the final siding so that the parts dont unpin. When putting it together, dont force the push pins, you can always go back and secure them after the support is added on step 5. After you get the framing together, the drawers, backing etc. is fairly easy and only need one person. If you have a power drill, use it on the backing. The rest is just basic hand tools, allen wrench and screwdriver. Its a solid piece, easy to construct, and looks nice. Hope this helps.

Beautiful dresser. I don't always post reviews
Beautiful dresser. I don't always post reviews, but after reading so many bad reviews on this item about parts being damaged and difficulty assembling it, it sat in my amazon cart for months, but when I couldn't find any dresser that I liked more I just ordered it hoping for the best. Well, my husband just put it together and it's perfect. Not damaged at all. Looks great and was relatively easy for him to assemble. So if u like the style of the dresser do not b scared off by other negative reviews...it's really nice..so glad I purchased it

Fantastic Purchase (2020)
I was a little apprehensive when buying this changing dresser. I did extensive research and decided to take the plunge. I'm so happy that I did. Yes, it is a little time consuming in putting together and we broke it up into two days. We saved the drawers for day two. However, this piece is so sturdy. I was worried that a piece may arrived damaged as many reviews mentioned that, however, everything came in perfect condition. It is very heavy and feels like, overall, great quality. I highly recommend it and the price is great. Everything else in this price range seems cheap and not very durable. I never review things, but I just wanted to put this out there. This is a great piece, don't be afraid of the reviews. Maybe something has changed with the production. My purchase was made in April of 2020. Quick arrival, even with delays due to COVID-19. Absolutely LOVE it!

100% recommended
This dresser is beautiful and so sturdy for a dresser that comes unassembled. It's a great height to use as a changing table, just add the changing pad on top. Perfect addition to my baby girl's nursery. I changed the dresser pulls and it looks amazing!

Good quality. One problem with assembly instructions.
Overall this is one of the better quality pieces of self assemble furniture that I’ve gotten. Definitely more than satisfied with the quality for the price. We intend to use it as a changing table and it’s a good height and size for that. The only two issues I had are 1) the color. We knew we were taking a chance, but due to the space limitations, we had to get 5 different pieces of gray furniture from 4 different manufacturers. They are all basically the same color and go well together except this one which is significantly darker. Not really their fault, but it is challenging to find other pieces that it matches. 2) there are a few plastic push pins used during assembly. The instructions say to push them in with your thumb, but I couldn’t get them to go in easily so I gave them a couple light taps with a rubber hammer(I always keep a rubber hammer handy when assembling furniture) and 4 of them popped off pieces right on the upper sides of the dresser. Again, not entirely the manufacturers fault, but the head of the pin should bottom out before the end is allowed to bust through the outside of the piece.

We want to like it but we were not sent all the pieces ...
My husband and I are very unhappy with this dresser. We want to like it but we were not sent all the pieces to finish putting together the drawers. We are missing one side to the very last drawer that needs to be assembled. We were sent 7 of one side of the drawers and 5 of the other side. I have tried calling Stork Craft as the instructions state to do and the line is always busy. I emailed the company and have yet to receive a response. Lastly, I went onto their website to order the missing piece and still no resolution. Now we are stuck with a dresser that is incomplete and our babies are due very soon. At a loss as to what to do now. It's really unfortunate as we were thinking of buying a second one if we liked the first.

Not worth the money
We spent almost $300 for this dresser to put in our baby girls nursery and we are very disappointed with the quality of the product. The “wood” is very heavy making you initially think it’s a good quality product....but after beginning to assemble the dresser we were sorely mistaken. One of the wood pieces came cracked out of the box which wasn’t noticed until we started putting it together. Also, the screws appear to be too long and very easily poked through the wood which can be seen in the pictures above. They were not overtightened during assembly so this should not have happened. Both sides of the dresser were destroyed because of this. After spending so much time putting the dresser together (and lugging the heavy thing up the stairs before putting it together) and seeing how upset I was that the dresser looked so bad my husband went to the hardware store and bought white vinyl. He cut pieces exactly the size of the sides of the dresser and glued them on to COVER the gapping/chipped holes. He then caulked the edges so it all looked smooth and now the dresser looks great. We should not have had to come out of pocket to make the dresser look presentable and we’ve reached out to the manufacturer directly and have yet to hear back from them. I would encourage you to spend the extra money and find a nice dresser at a furniture store because this piece is NOT worth the price
