This battery is a drop-in replacement for early RadPower bicycles, particularly first generation RadWagons.I had left my original on the bike in a low state of charge throughout winter, which apparently is quite a bad thing to do, hence needing a replacement. RadPower bicycles no longer offers replacement batteries for their early bicycles through their store, and there isn't much information out there about the battery pack they used, save that it is a "dolphin" pack.This one fit the dimensions of the original, as well as the voltage, but at higher amperage (got the 14ah). It also looked identical on the listing.Shipped quickly, though it is worth knowing that big lithium batteries take a while to travel as I don't believe they can be sent by air.Got it, checked the polarity of the plug against the original battery (which still can carry a small charge), and everything looked good. Slid right into the existing mount on the RadWagon and I got my commuter cargo bike back up and running.Getting 30-35 miles / charge vs 20-25 on the original 11 ah battery.Seems like you can get a cheaper replacement e-bike battery than this, but the drop-in replacement was worth a little extra to me. Also, they list brand-name battery cells which should theoretically make it last a long time (lots of cheap lithium cells are pretty poor from a charge cycling perspective). I have not verified that the cells are actually high quality branded cells, but I've put about 150 miles on the battery so far and haven't noticed any degredation yet.

Don't be fooled like me. This battery lasted all of 3 weeks. The seller claims to offer a 1 year warranty, but it is worthless. They have no infrastructure in the US to service the batteries, so in order to get any help from them you need to figure out how to ship the battery back to China. Total scam.

I ordered this battery based off another review stating it was a direct fit for the older “legacy” RadWagons. RadPower appears to not make anymore the older style batteries anymore so options are limited. It does appear to be the exact same casing as the original RadPower design and fit in the RP bracket with zero issue.eBike batteries are not cheap so I wanted to pass on my experience to help you decide if this battery is fo you. I ordered the 48V 14AH version.Shipping took slightly longer than expected but arrived in about a week.The power indicator light does not completely turn off. When pressed to the on position, the blue light is at full brightness. When pressed again to the off position, the blue light just dims. So it remains on at some degree ALL THE TIME. I even pulled the fuse just to see if would turn off. No change (see below). My original RadPower battery power light turned off completely so this seemed unusual. I reached out to the company and they informed me this was “normal operation”. Not so sure about that, but I would think/hope the draw from one dimmed LED will not cause a huge drain. I may have just gotten a dud, but it’s slightly annoying.There was a loose metallic part that was rolling around inside the battery when I received it. I was concerned it could cause a short. It turned out to be a small nut and I was able to open the casing and reattach it to its correct bolt.Upon opening, I found the internal wiring/construction fairly solid. The battery cells are completely wrapped so I could not tell if they were genuine Panasonic or not. I did notice that the fuse is not connected to anything at all (see above). I’ve read that this can be somewhat common on eBike batteries, but wanted to pass that along.Customer service was quick to respond and friendly although there is a bit of a language barrier which makes troubleshooting issues a little difficult. They don’t appear to be a company that is easily able to exchange or return so keep that in mind when purchasing. I’m not sure if I’d buy it again, but like I mentioned my options for my particular bike were limited without adding a completely new bracket. I’m gonna give this 4 out of 5 stars for now just because it’s a direct fit for early RP bikes, it seems to be working ok, and customer service was responsive. I’ve only used it for 3 days so will definitely update again and lower the rating if things change.Oh - the battery arrived mounted and locked to the bracket. I have never locked my battery so I had forgotten about this feature. Make sure you use the provided keys to unlock to remove!

I bought this battery to replace my Falco Li7 battery. I was very pleased that this battery is exactly the same battery that Falco sells and a lot better deal. Plus the battery comes with a charger. So far, it is performing exactly the same as my Falco Li7 battery. If you are looking for a Falco Li battery this battery is a drop in replacement at half the cost with free shipping!
