Circus Train

I bought this as a gift for my niece and I was so happy with the product. It is a cute story with fun and vibrant pictures. Just what I was looking for!

My five year old is starting to read and loves the rhythm and rhyme of this book- we often catch her reciting the words from memory (like a catchy song) long after we finish reading. My three year old loves the many jobs mentioned to help keep a circus working as well as the fun, colorful illustrations. Even my one year old likes this book because it often gives her something to do (ie: “Applause! Applause!”). And I love this book because it’s one I can read on repeat without getting annoyed! We’ve given copies of this book to friends for birthday and Christmas- It’s a great find.

As a children's librarian I am always on the lookout for books that are fun to read out loud, keep young kids engaged, and have fun craft potential. This book checks all those boxes, not to mention it has become my daughters favorite! We read it every night before bed.

Nice simple story with good illustrations. Might be good for bedtime as it isn't too exciting. Best for very young children.

My son loved the book so much that we bought extra copies to give as gifts. Judd’s exciting narrative combined with Matthew’s illustrations make for a fun read for all.
