Q: I would like to buy these sandals to walk round London all day and wondered if my feet got sweaty would the soul rub and hurt feet?

Hi, I have worn these in very hot temperatures and have not had any problems. They are really light weight, breatheable and if you have the right size there should be no problems with your feet slipping up and down inside the shoe!!! As already stated they dry quickly if they get wet, are wash proof to keep them odour free and hard wearing.

Q: Are these waterproof?

I’m a little puzzled at the question as they’re sandals?? However, if you’re asking whether they can get wet without being ruined then yes. I have walked through sea pools on the beach and also put them in the washing machine with no problems.

Q: Unfortunately I can't do beach walks/ sea swimming in the usual surf shoes available. I need arch support. Would these be suitablefor that purpose?

They are fantastic for beach walks and walking through rock pools but I don't know about swimming. They are very close fitting so maybe they would be ok for that. They certainly don't flop off or move very much when you are walking so I'd guess they'd be ok for swimming in, in so far as any shoes are good for swimming in!

Q: I’m a 3.5, sometimes a 4, what the number you advice?

I ordered a 39 (6.5) but in some footwear I need a 40 (7). Initially the sandals felt quite tight and I thought I might have to return them but after wearing them around the house for short while they soon moulded to my feet and now fit like a glove. Very comfortable and great for trekking. Hope this helps with your size ordering dilemma!
