Works great for reheating left-overs using small amount of water, just make sure to measure diameter of the pot or pressure cooker, its also easy to clean.

I bought this for putting in pan to staem hamburgers and steak using a glass lid. Works great! Grease leaves meat while keeping meat moist.

Sure they're thin metal but you ain't gonna be using then as step stools! Works well - these racks are essential to every kitchen to best take advantage of the space inside the pot when you steam anything, and provide even steaming for superior results. I got 2 of these; one 8" diameter and the other 7" so i could utilize 2 tiers. That part worked great but I deducted 1 star for the discoloration or staining after one use. Don't know what's up with that. Still, they perform their steaming duty finely, and they are built on the bare minimum thickness to do that.

I bought between two choices a steamer or this. It turned out this was small enough for a wok but not too big. It's a little flimsy feeling but I think it can carry weight. I haven't used it yet so I can quite say. but it's nice.

It's dirt cheap. It fits a stack of CD's perfectly. It's great that the feet are removable because I don't need them, and it fits the stand I put it on exactly. It's also resistant to wild animals and harsh winter weather. Absolutely perfect in every way for what I needed it to do.

I use it to elevate my shrimp above the boil.

I wanted a smaller steam basket to fit in saucepans. I don't want to use a large 6 qt. pot when I'm steaming items just for me. This is perfect!
