Highly Reccomend
Long story short: I love it and I highly endorse it for anyone going into clinics!Long story long:I purchased this for clinics not knowing if I would really need or use it. I'm more than halfway through now and can confidently say this was an excellent purchase! (I've since bought another)I love that having a structured book makes me more consistent in the order that I ask for information and keeps me from forgetting questions I want to ask even when I didn't have it with me. It also helped me to give concise and orderly case presentations every time to my clinicians. They were also impressed with the amount of information that I was able to keep on hand and find easily when asked ("what does your magic book say?").As for how it is set up: It took a few cases to get a feel for how and where I wanted to record what information. (Does previous bloodwork go in the history section or labwork section?) But once I had a system it made finding the information I wanted much easier. The space to write is not very big - so you will need a fine point pen. However, I found that it forced me to be more concise and prioritize what information was truly important to the case. At no point did I every run out of room to write even on in-hospital cases I had over the course of several days.I used different sections and used them in different ways depending on what service I was on.Only con is that there is only room for 4 drugs which more complicated internal med cases my easily surpass.I was worried at first about it being a bound book style vs binder or spiral notebook style. However, I bent and stressed the spine myself which allowed it to lie flat. I also found that it tended to fall open to the most recently used pages so I was never flipping through looking for my patient. I occasionally used dog-eared pages if I needed to come back to a case which was further back.Overall if you are willing to adjust to a smaller space / writing style - it will organize you and make you look much more prepared and professional. (and if fit in the pocket of my white coat, just saying)

Super helpful
I just started rotations and this has been super helpful in keeping track of all the cases that I have seen. I put sticky notes on each patient that I need to still call back and has helped me stay more organized so I don't forget to call anyone back. I didn't think I would use it that much, but I have used it for every patient since I got it.

SO HELPFUL for clinics, just wish it was spiral
This notebook is so helpful to stay organized and make sure you don’t forget anything for each patient. It’s hard to keep open though, if it was spiral it would be absolutely perfect!

Overall excellent product
Excellent product to track cases and remind you of small animal “normal” parameters as you go through an exam. The only wish I have is for a spiral binding so it’s easier to write on the backs of pages when you don’t have a space to lie it flat. Overall, great notekeeper!

This book was fantastic for my clinical rotations, ESPECIALLY small animal internal medicine. Very organized! I only wish that it was spiral bound.
