I almost didn't purchase this book because the title threw me off.....but....hey!...who am I kidding?!?.. this is Katy Evans we're talking about here. NO WAY was I gonna pass up one of her masterpieces! Nope...NO frikkin' way! And Ms. Evans is a master driver, taking the wheel with a firm grip and perfect precision.Rachel Livingston (23)...beautiful with a face of a living doll. "You go out searching for something and come back with something else."THE STORY: Rachel Livingston is a magazine writer who is given the assignment to get close to the billionaire bachelor Malcolm Saint and write an expose about him. This is the break that she wants in her career, but it requires her to lie about her intentions. What Rachel doesn't expect is the manwhore she expects is actually a decent person who she begins to care about. What will happen when her true motivations become known?OPINION: I thought this story was intense and complicated with Rachel lying throughout the relationship with Malcolm. Rachel's growth to where she can admit that she was in the wrong is an emphasis in the book. One weak point of the book was that because it was told in the first person, readers only get Rachel's perspective. She apparently doesn't see anything negative about Malcolm because he seems pretty perfect in the book. As a result, Rachel's own actions in lying seem more unreasonable and unforgivable. This book ends on a cliffhanger and thus what might ultimately happen between these two characters when they have honesty between them is still unknown.WORTH MENTIONING: This book ends on a cliffhanger. There is no resolution so readers should be prepared to buy the next book in the series.FINAL DECISION: I liked this book more than I expected. I recognized that the story was not complete and would be continued in the other books in the series, otherwise I might have been seriously annoyed with the ending.CONNECTED BOOKS: MANWHORE is the first book in the Manwhore series.STAR RATING: I give this book 4 stars.

I loved this book! I would absolutely love to read Malcolm's POV. I read Manwhore+1 and Ms manwhore. Enjoyed them so much that have re read them 3 times

The start is good but I found the middle of the book dragged too much. Meaning the part where Rachel is fighting her inner feelings and guilt for using saint. Every page that turned made me feel ok may be the other shoe will drop in here but it went on. Also the connection between the two of them did not seemed to be so deep to me as the author was hoping to show. Nevertheless it's a good story only there affair should not had been dragged so long.

Katy Evans has done it again . Beautifully written couldn't put it down..I'm about to start the 2nd book I need to no Malcolm can forgive Rachel..

This is the book! Wow. I am so incredibly in awe of this story. I loved each and every word as it graced the pages of my kindle. Saint and Rachael's story captivated me from start to finish. With angst, romance and a cliffy ending to leave me in a tail spin I have never been so heartbroken over the fact that I need to wait months for the next book to see how everything plays out. I'm a huge Katy Evans fan and this book was a big swoon that has left me happy sad and everything in between. An absolute must read!!

Die Real Reihe von Katy hat mir gut gefallen und auf den Start dieser Reihe war ich sehr gespannt. Gleich zu Beginn war mir Rachel sehr sympatisch, ehrgeizig, sozial eingestellt usw. Somit war der Einstieg gelungen und der Rest der Geschichte hat mich so in den Bann gezogen, ich fand sie unglaublich! Ich konnte mitfühlen, mit BEIDEN, und ihre Handlungen und Gedanken nachvollziehen, das ist mir immer sehr wichtig! Freue mich auf den 2. Teil!!! Absolute Leseempfehlung!
