FP0026-10 Inline Check Valve

Junk. I purchased new to use a check valve for a municipal water supply pressure back up sump pump installation. After much troubleshooting I finally disconnected the down pressure side of this valve from the primary pump and switched on my back up pump ...water came rushing out. At first I thought the indicated flow direction of the valve was labeled backwards. After removing the valve I found I could push the flapper through its seated position with just moderate finger pressure. If this had worked past the initial testing and failed later during a power outage not only would my basement have been flooded by the water back feeding through this check valve but it would have actually flooded faster due to the water pressure supply line contributing to the problem. It's too late for me to return this but I still feel as if someone owes me a refund since it never worked. Stay away from this piece of garbage.

Works as described. Rubber connectors are reversible to easily convert between piping size. Helps prevent pump from back-spinning if there is considerable head downstream in drain piping.

Valve seems fine, but the 1-1/2 to 1-1/4 adapter section has broken on both the original and replacement.It's been replaced with a Legend 203-237 compression valve.

perfect replacement, but had to tighten the screws in the valve as it leaked upon water turn on

I neededtwo inline check valves to replace my failing valves on my two sump pumps. I got them and found them easy to install. Having the clamps already on them included in the package was a huge help. They work great and make very little noise.

I used this valve with a 1/3 horse power pump. The pump could not push the water through the valve.

Did not work. I have to shake it for it to stop the water from backing up. Will have to try another brand.
