Almost Lost hope in wool pillows then I got this
I bought a wool pillow from another brand from the uk after hearing praise about it’s superior qualities to other pillows.I’m also a major fan of wool almost all that I wear is made of wool so it was only fitting I got a wool pillow so when I got that pillow from that brand it was very hard, flat and having a strong scent.I returned it and decided to gave this one a try from Holy Lamb, and it’s amazing. Complete opposite, actually soft (not as soft as down), and the scent is the same but barely noticeable compared to the other one.So being a wool pillow with all its benefits, and practicalities compared to down and others, with the confidence that I won’t have mold in this pillow which I’m very sensitive to. I’m going to go ahead and call this the best pillow to get for long term use. Only hick is it’s a bit expensive imo but worth itEthical, practical and comfortable. Thanks

Last Pillow I Will Ever Buy
So hub bought this, thru me, for his mom's xmas gift, because she was complaining that she didn't own a pillow that didn't make her neck sore. She used it a bit and stated it was alright, to which my hub said, "for a $100, if its just ok, give it back and I'll give you the $100 and you can go get something you really want." Having done the research I couldn't wait to get my hands on that pillow, so it became mine and I was thrilled. HOWEVER, before I could even test it out properly and start removing wool balls to my perfect comfort level, my hub sneakily got me to notice how lumpy his pillow had become. I must admit it was the lumpiest pillow I had ever encountered. Still wondering how he got it that way ... Anyway, of course, I had to hand over the pillow to him and he managed to end up with it and is about content as a guy can be with a new pillow. All while maintaining he's a simple guy and doesn't need a $100 pillow. Well played, I must say.A parade of pillows has charged through our house, usually getting tossed when they finally needed to be washed. And some were inexpensive, but not all by any means. Finally, we have a pillow that brings happiness into our house AND I can clean the cover and not muck up the insides, so the happiness will continue indefinitely. This is the last pillow I will ever buy.Only complaint is that it came just kind of thrown in the box. No bag around the pillow, just a safety pin (actually it was very nice) holding an instruction card to the pillow. And the box was taped just enough to keep it shut, but not every crevice was sealed, so I got to experience a bit of worry hoping no dirt or critters got in during shipment. No biodegradable tissue paper. No linen bag. Nada. Just open the cardboard shipping box and there is a pillow inside. Aside from the worry about dirt and critters, I thought for $115, a nice linen bag around the pillow and a bit of tissue was called for. Just sayin.

Comfy and non toxic
We are trying to use more natural products in our home, and gave this pillow a try. My son really loves it, my daughter hates it. I like it as well, but it does have a lanolin scent to it. The pillow does require regular fluffing of the stuffing and will probably need to have some additional stuffing added to it in the future. We did not find it to be hot like some other reviewers had stated. We are happy overall with the pillow and like that it doens't have any toxic materials in it.

Impressive
I got it today. I was super impressed with the lack of plastic packaging. It appears to be the same size and heft of the all cotton pillows I have. I did not remove extra material as I like a plump pillow but its not so plump that I would call it bulging. The wool and cover are a golden color not white as shown in the picture. The cover has damask stripes and the zipper is smaller than the entire length of a side. The person I got it for first comment was that it was too soft. They like a pillow that doesn't let your head sink in. So maybe it will be mine. Will try it tonight. As with all wool, you have to be super careful in washing it. I am guessing the lumps in other reviews are from machine washing. There are very detailed instructions on washing this pillow and they are great (learned a few things). There is a slight smell from the damask striped cover. After I put two flannel pillow cases on it, could not smell the faint odor. As stated in the instructions, do not wash before use.

I love this pillow
I love the zippered cover that allows me to remove the inner wool and wash/sanitize the cover.I love that I can adjust the fullness of the pillow by removing or adding wool.I love that the wool stuffing is soft, malleable, and easy to sleep on regardless of sleep position.I even love the soft scent of the pillow that seems to help relax me into sleep.Made in the USA and worth every dollar.

Holy Cow! It went right back in the box for return. :(
IDK what pillow y’all received vs what arrived at my home. It was flat, terribly underfilled, and stunk to high heavens. Considering I’m stuffed up ATM the fact that the smell was so unbearable says a lot. I gave it 2 stars because it did seem much softer than the last pillow I tried (My Wooly), which wasn’t in little balls and compacted. However, it didn’t smell and was overstuffed. I wish I could’ve kept this one, but the smell and lack of fill was too much to overcome. I chose this over the Woolroom based on the softness and lack of smell comments so now I’m afraid to give that one a try. I literally had to take an allergy pill after unboxing this thing. I usually only leave positive reviews and even then rarely, but with the cost and importance of this item I felt I needed to comment.

It's not that i hate the pillow but their impossible return policy
It's not that i hate the pillow but their impossible return policy. I received it and it's supposed to be medium fill. It's quite full so as a side sleeper I would need something less. I wanted to simply exchange it but that would cost another $35 return shipping, and then another $35 back to receive the alternate pillow. So after already spending $110 on a pillow I was very much looking forward to I would have to spend an additional $70 to get what I expected. I don't know what I'll do at this point but I am deeply disappointed with the standard of a great sounding company I really wanted to love and continue to buy from.
