Had to replace the knob on my mustang. This was a good value for money. Didn't look very similar to my mustang's knob but works well. The color combinations are nice and comes with multiple size options to fit different gears. Would recommend if you are not looking for a like for like replacement. Its a good alternative at a very good price.

This product is unsafe. Because of the price (expensive), I expected a product that could stay in place forever. I had it installed for a week and it was a headache. It kept loosening while shifting, this makes it very unsafe and it could distract you while driving. The outer shell is very high quality and the details are beautiful, but the inside is plastic and that is where the problem is. It is very unreliable, it could work on an exhibition car with very low usage. It looks good, but safety should be a priority. I don't recommend purchasing.

It looks nice and is pretty easy to install but after a few days it does loosen a bunch and you have to continuously tighten it.

I did not have to use the cheap little screws that it comes with because I was able to use a rubber hammer to beat the new knob on snugly on the plastic nub that was stuck on the stick. Tighter than factory! The car I installed this on is a 2017 Nissan Sentra sr turbo. If you own one of these, you understand how beneficial it is to know this trick. Especially when you’re looking for a shift knob and you find one that looks great but it’s one of the ones that are secured with those tiny screws. I hope this review finds someone who owns one of these vehicles because swapping out the shift knobs on these are PITA. It doesn’t twist off like the old ones, but rather have to pull it extremely hard to get it off.

It's a little too complicated to explain what I had to do to make this work. But I'll give it three stars just because when I was finished, it looks okay and I know it's not going to fall off. Product page said it fits my car....Wrong! I hope you're handy with tools and at thinking outside the box if you plan on using this on a Renegade. I will say this though... it's better than paying the $600+ that Jeep wanted to charge me for replacing the entire gear shift, all the way down into the transmission, because they told me the knob couldn't be replaced on it's own. What??!!

It may not have the weight of the OE ball but there is something about the shape and how it makes the space seem less cluttered. Feels good in the hand and the adapter system seems adequate. No it is not a metal to metal threaded fitting and that gives me pause for the longevity. The 3 set screws do hold it securely in place and pose no threat to the OE shifter threads. The fit of the parts is very nice even for a far more expensive unit. Well thought out, designed and produced. Nice bang for the buck. I would rather have more weight with the carbon fiber looking wrap being replaced by something with substance.

This was a PAIN to install, mostly because it's not threaded whatsoever as the product description states. Instead, you get a few poorly-molded semi-conical plastic doohickeys, that you somehow have to figure out how to fit over the threads. You can whack it with a hammer and have it tear itself apart sliding over the threads, or you can twist it and have it tear little bits of itself away until it gets stuck halfway on. There's really no good way to do this. Those plastic things are the allegedly-but-not-really "threaded" adapters. Then you just slip the gear shifter over it and tighten the set screws.It works good enough... in the winter. But as soon as you get a sunny day above about 50 degrees Fahrenheit, the plastic (not-)threaded adapter is so pliable that the whole assembly just flops around. I tried screwing it on more, further tightening set screws, etc. to no avail. This is just a junk product.Looks cool and the sticker hasn't fallen off yet. Much lighter than my stock Corolla shifter.

Very good quality, well made and just the right weight. My old one was wearing out and this one even feels more comfortable to shift with. Worth the money .. you pay for what you get !

I like the design. It makes it easy to install, but the plastic insert doesn't sit tightly once all the way on. And my product came with no set screws. I had to go buy some myself. I solved the losness of the insert with some crazy glue. I may look and maybe making a new one that has proper threads.
