The leather chisel sheaths are well made, but are all one size smaller than noted. I contacted seller and they sent two sheaths to replace the small ones. No questions asked. I recommend this seller!

Perfect fit on all standard chisels I own. Leather absorbs moisture and will protect your chisels from corrosion while preventing damage in tool boxes, etc. Great product!

I purchased 2, I used most for my chisels and the last one as a tip for my holdfast. Many fit the various chisels well but the smallest were too small for my smallest chisel. Not enough room to expand. Also, nothing large enough for the 1.5” chisel. Also, need to be very careful putting chisels in, mine are very sharp and one cut clean through the leather.

Some people complained that these were too tight, or would allow a chisel to go right through it when inserting. Not the case at all for me. These fit great and worked fine. Sturdy and useful.Definitely adds a nice touch to tools, for those of us who really like our tools.

I’m not sure if I should be proud of the sharpness of my chisels or disappointed in the toughness of the leather, but upon initial insertion, two of the three that I used were cut completely through immediately, hence the super glue repairs in the pic. There’s also really no consistency in shape (I trimmed mine to be a little more alike) but I suppose for the price they’re fine. I just wanted something to protect my tools in travel, and I suppose they still do the job.

I ordered 2 sets I'd these for my collection of chisels. I keep them in the tool tray on my workbench, and hate letting them knock into each other. They're made well enough, I wouldn't say they're extremely high quality. The leather is thick enough, vegetable tanned, it will definitely hold up. I do some basic leather working, but I couldn't buy the leather to make them for this price, and if they ever come apart they'll be easy enough to stitch back together. I actually ordered 2 mores sets for some odd chisels that I have in cardboard sleeves in a drawer after getting the first two.

I read the reviews that said these were difficult to get on and that some chisels cut thru the leather. They were spot on. These are way to tight for the size chisels they are supposed to fit. If you buy them, I recommend applying oil or Gloveolium to treat and soften the leather first. This takes a couple applications and waiting a few days. You may still need to press them sideways in a vise in order to open them up and carefully slide the chisel in. Overtime they should conform to the blade. Yea this is a hassle but personally I love leather covers on sharp blades.

I was going to make some of the chisel covers and saw these at this price. I bought two sets which turned out to be a good decision. I ended up using all of them doubling up on the large size on my two largest chisels in my set. Every set is different so having the extra set was worth it. I like the old school leather look. Looks good and protects. They need a little breaking in so the shape forms so not to cut I to the leather when installing. I had enough orphan chisels that the extra cover all got homes. The sun will come out tomorrow...
