Produce slicing ease
Light weight, maintains a edge over time, does require sharpening, metal blade discolored after vegetables use.Common problem with lower grade alloys... but for the moneyA excellent daily utility blade

Wicked Sharp
So, I am not the normal person as I use this knife for making Oboe Reed's. It sharpens to a razor edge and it's actually rather dangerous unless you know how to use it. I use it for cutting straight down on my Oboe Reeds and it is an exceptional knife for the price. Traditional Oboe Reed knives are vastly overpriced and do not yield good quality. This is an awesome knife for what I'm doing and probably need to buy some for the kitchen also. It is a great company and I did have some audio contact with them, and most of the knives are US made... some Japanese... who also do great knives. Reedmaker Reed Shop

NOT STAINLESS STEEL, WILL RUST IF NOT CARED FOR PROPERLY!
Extremely sharp, sturdy quality knife. I even liked forcing a patina with the wood handle giving it a rustic look. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the weight, I wish it had a little more to it feels light.

Rusts too easily
Bought more than a few Dexter knives, bought this one for my wife, the blade rusts even if dried off immediately after washing. Still a good knife, just not for "Produce", moving it to the tool bag

Plenty Sharp
Good grip and nicely place blade guard. Bought to use for cutting dried broom corn for hand room making and it gets the job done. Very pleased. Definitely sharp though.

This ain't a shiny knife and it's made to ride in your back pocket
My first Dexter lasted me 20 years, if I don't lose this one it's the last I'll ever need. This is an apron wearing produce clerk knife you see trimming and banding fresh produce. It won't cut your Jean pocket in the back and you can still sit down with it. Allows you to quickly store and use. Razor sharp.

Cheap
First time I washed it I dried it with a towel and put it away in a drawer I went to grab it a couple hours later and it already rusted and the wood was discolored
