One of my faves so far!
This is as fantastic as all of Amanda Milo’s works, but it seems as though each book just gets better and better. I don’t know how she does it! I’m thoroughly, irrevocably hooked, and I have absolutely no regrets!!!

Fun
I don't tend to read a lot of books with multiple partners, but I enjoyed the 1st book in the series, so I continued on. This one is my favorite book of the series. All 5 of the pirates are so fun, I was laughing at all the pranks they played. Great read.

I am speechless! Or rather too cracked up to talk as I gasp for a breath and wheeze while snorting through my nose, bent over hugging my stomach, as it aches from so much laughter. Who could have ever thought that a "human-caught-by-aliens" story would be written so humorously!? And sexy, sex at the same time!I think of the characters as "Beth's Boys," cause the hijinks the five of them get into is like a bunch of bear cubs, cute and oh, so cuddily, but with massive, muscular chests and abs. Three of them are so silly; one is downright crazy - dancing jigs in the middle of an alien marketplace while trying to trick naive "marks" into purchasing Beth, but not really. See what I mean? Crazy! One is ugly and scary upon first acquaintance but sooooo comforting while snuggling; and one is scary, hot 🔥, hot in a good way - handsome - when scowling at everyone around him. And they all want Beth!Aw, shucks! Her and not me! Dang it! Well, if I can't have my own harem of men, I want more of them!!!! Amanda, I demand another sexy, sex, thievery (did I mention they're pirates?) adventure with Beth and her boys, um stable. I don't want just one in their group; I want ALL of them, including Annalise. Maybe she could be a little bit older, say 7 or 8, precocious and inquisitive but always watching for the right moment.Ooooo, that would be a good story, however you want to write it, Amanda. I'd definitely buy it, read it, and gobble it up. Just like I did today upon finishing this book.I hadn't read one of your books in awhile. I think Alluvial I read last November. So many excellent books to read! I finally started Beth's Stable YESTERDAY and was captivated! Today, then, I promptly went to Amazon and bought FOUR more of your books! Thankfully, I only had one more to get from this series, 2 from the Pet Project and another I can't remember its name. That is how much you impressed me in the last 24 hours! My plan is to read the whole series again, because seriously, I think I haven't actually read all of them before. Oops. Thanks, Amanda for being a fun and funny author. It was a pleasure to read you!

Funny and lovable
So this book was filled with lovable and funny moments and quite a few movie\pop culture type references. So this is book six it does seem to be occurring in a coinciding time line as a few other stories. That being said for me would make it so you could read this one first or even alone because while!e you might not get the full experience when characters paths cross for the most part I don't think you'd be lost either. And while this is an alien / sci-fi romance as far as aliens go this crew of five is just a little bit more human feeling without looking their alien-ness. Like for instance their alien junk that sounded awesome and was one I haven't seen thought up before, yay! This story also while being the setting of a new romance almost has that blended family feel since our leading lady comes into the story already pregnant. So not only does she have that to handle but she's also coming from a rough time in her last relationship. I love how this piece of her history really on strengthens the ties in her new relationships. So I loved how each character seemed like their own person with no place fillers or carbon copies in sight. And these unique personalities add dimension to each individual relationship as well as the dynamic of the whole and it worked great because while it was reverse harem it was more a single center relationship and not a polyamorous big love set-up. Meaning while everyone was a family unit of crew and they all cared about each other & there weren't really any secrets romantically equals had their own relationship with beth. And while this isn't normally my favorite setup it worked really well for this group especially with all the hijinks and stealing that occurs. My only downside in this book (and maybe I missed something) was some of the descriptions of the guys individual appearances seems to be minimal or missing completely. The Narith's in general were described & I found a couple of them get specific details so I didn't want to fill in my own only to have them changed and was patiently waiting for the last couple!e to get their details filled out and it never came that I saw. But don't let that deter you from this book because it's a great story filled with humor, love, adventure passion and pranks galore. Really any of this authors books are a good option especially if you want alien / sci-fi romance. Overall a very good book would recommend.

enjoyable read
This was a surprisingly good read. I don’t know what I expected when I started this. But the mc is fun smart lighthearted and just enjoyable to read the men or aliens in her life are also perfect each with their own personalities and things you specifically love about each of them. She struggles in the beginning with her traumas and of course her new life but quickly learns the new males in her life aren’t what she expected and from there the book becomes a nice lighthearted read that brings out all the feels. You cheer them all on and hope for the best from them.

Ridiculous Space Pirates
I’d seen this book bandied about on various threads and finally decided to give it a go and I have to say it’s one of the most ridiculous RH book I’ve read. When I say ridiculous what I mean is pretty darn funny. I will preface this by saying that I normally get a bit squicked out by abduction romances because really that isn’t anyway to start out with a fun story line. However, this book got around that by abducting a human who was happy to leave Earth to get away from an abusive ex and ended up being bought by aliens who look after her. Having that emotional chicanery allowed me to relax and enjoy the book.Beth wakes up in an alien auction house at least 6 months pregnant when the last thing she remembered was being significantly less so and being on Earth. Bought by a hyperactive toddler hopped up on caffeine and sugar, otherwise known as Ekan an alien from a race of space pirates, Beth spends much of the next few weeks in a state of confusion.Ekan and his shipmates come from a race that form crews around one female mate. They seem to spend all their time in space and relish the challenge of theft, be it gems, food or time with their mate. I like how though all the crew are the same race and have overarching behavioural traits, they are all distinct personalities, with different relationships with Beth. This was decent sized book and filled with witty banter and miscommunications of things that get lost in cultural translation. Beth is a movie fanatic and spends a lot of time relating things to her favourite characters and scripts and as a movie fan it all made sense to me, though someone who is less aware of movies may miss some of the references, but I don’t think it would stop the enjoyment of it.This is the first book I’ve read by this author, but I’m certain it won’t be the last because I loved the way she looked at the world and spent a lot of my time during my read laughing.

Get past the crazy first few chapters and it is WORTH it!
This was SOOO confusing for first five or so chapters, then got better and better. Although I have to admit being won over by Ekan within about three paragraphs. What a nutter!Still all the men have individual characters and characteristics that Beth needs and between them the laughter, pranks, ridiculous situations and ultimately HEA is bloody brilliant.I also had more snorty, loud, sometimes unexpected laughs aloud than i've had all year. I kind of want to be Beth...

amusing low angst story
This story meanders a bit. It was enjoyable but I found it didn’t have any real meat to it. Stuff happens but it never feels like it matters that much. The characters were all really entertaining and interesting. The story sweet and diverting it just didn’t capture me with a need to know what happens next. Very readable though.

Disappointing
Amanda Milo has been one of my go to authors and I have loved the rest of this series. However if this had been my first Milo experience it would definitely have been my last!!! Beth is so bland, not at all like she was in the other books and Ekan the main pirate is completely obnoxious. I managed to get just over a third of the way through to where Beth accidentally wets the bed when she sneezes so Ekan decides to drag her from one pirate to the next so she can wee on them too. It was at this point that I just gave up, making this one of the very few books that I couldn't bring myself to finish. Hopefully Amanda's next book will see her back to her normal high standard

Always a pleasure
About 2 years ago I decided to see if sci-fi erotica existed..I was not disappointed..from the lewd and just filthy sex of some books out there to the rich imaginings of this series..I was thrilled when there was more than one..I read them them all and Beth's stable is my favourite so far as I just love her character..I am a movie buff too so I totally got all the references..I just spent the day reading it..forgot to do any of my chores..hmmm space pirates what an adventure..
