For ~$30, you wouldn't expect much from a watch.With prices going into the hundreds and thousands, there are many (more expensive) alternatives.But I digress, this is an absolutely brilliant timepiece--it's simple, gets the job done, all while looking quite stylish.Time is kept quite accurately and is incredibly easy to view with a glance. The "Indiglo" feature is simply a light that activates when pressed.The kicker that personally drew me to the watch was the ability to switch out the NATO straps with ease.Timex branded ZULU straps are the stock style strap and are preferred by many as well.You can find straps/bands online and at stores like Target anywhere from $5-$12.This way, you can change out the band to match outfits or when you just want a change. It's simple, easy, and incredibly cost-effective.This watch is so incredibly versatile. With the simple and clean face, you can dress this watch up with a suit or dress it down as simple Summer beach wear. With the ability to switch out the strap/band, I am certain that you'll find one that suits your specific taste and style.As others have remarked, the only flaw is the sound that the watch makes. Owning multiple watches, this watch is in fact fairly loud compared to others that I own. Not enough for me personally to find an annoyance, but just something to note.All of this at a package around $30 makes this watch an absolute steal. It is very very great.Basically all you have to do is choose what face color you'd like and mix and match straps as much as you please.To conclude, the Timex Weekender series of watches offer affordable, functional, style without compromise.Customization possibilities are very high and at a price tag of ~$30 it will fit into anyone's budget and will surely last.

A no frills beater watch. That's the best way to describe it. I don't worry about ruining it. It is a very nice looking watch too. Timex hasn't reinvented the wheel but rather stuck to classic field watch design. The 24 hour markers on the inner dial are a very nice feature. The band is of good quality and the pictures are spot on. It keeps time fairly accurately. It's gained a minute over the last month so I'm more than content with that. The backlight is a nice feature and with the white face it is very legible in the dark. It's a nice waych body to use with other nations style straps. As some have said in other reviews, it is a loud watch. The second hand ticks are very audible. For me it doesn't matter. I actually enjoy the tempo while I'm trying to sleep. The second hand does not hit the second markers on the shoulder accurately. The hand lands just behind the hash mark. I'm slightly ocd so it can be an annoyance but then I remember it's a $27 watch and I go on with my life.In short, it's a nice looking watch, keeps time well, appears nicer than the price point, and I won't be upset if it breaks or gets damaged. Very pleased.

Great watch no frills, just a good looking watch that keeps perfect time!!

On Saturday morning, it's nice to change up the suit and tie and throw on the jeans, a casual shirt, and this watch. It's casual, but in a fashionable way. The austere face is classic, the blue second hand gives a slight nod to the blued steel second hands on a fine Swiss piece, and the nylon strap takes it down a notch, the simplicity makes it look rich. There's also something nice about wearing a classic American value brand for what it does best, tell basic, accurate time. Really love this watch and was surprised to press the crown and see the bright indiglo face. The yellow on the strap, is as I hoped very faint, and could just easily pass for natural white. The strap is comfortable, although I have very small wrists for a 6'2" 220lb man and I am at the midway point on the notches, so an exceptionally large guy could find the strap a bit small. Reading some of the other reviews, I was a bit worried about the volume of the ticking, but it has not bothered me. If you hold it up to your ear, it is faintly louder than a normal watch, but you certainly would not hear it through normal wear. I did a "highly scientific analysis", in a quiet room, I stopped hearing the tick at about 20" from my ear; your call if that's a deal breaker. My wife continues to make comments about how much she likes this watch as an alternative to the more formal weekday wear and I completely agree. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a casual, basic watch at a great value.

Non fosse stato per l'ennesima, rovinosa caduta che ne ha scheggiato il lato interno del cristallo, il mio vecchio Timex, regalo di anni fa di un parente, sarebbe durato secoli. Con il sospetto che la riparazione mi sarebbe costata più che ricomprarlo, mi sono subito messo a caccia su Amazon. Per fortuna ho ritrovato lo stesso fantastico modello a cui ero affezionato! Questo "Indiglo" presenta un quadrante bianco con un design anni 50 che lo rende esteticamente semplice, elegante e adatto a tutte le occasioni. Premendo la rotella delle lancette si attiva una fioca illuminazione del quadrante, funzione utile di notte. La possibilità di sfilare e cambiare i cinturini con altri di diverso colore rappresenta una feature di non poco conto. Questa personalizzazione cromatica permette di adattare il Timex a tutti gli outfit : tanti colori, un solo orologio! I cinturini, reperibili qui su Amazon, si possono tranquillamente lavare in lavatrice per essere sempre curati nel dettaglio. Pur non essendo un orologio di lusso il Timex fa la sua bella figura ed è robusto e funzionale. Il prezzo, poi, è assolutamente abbordabile. Il mio preferito da anni!
