Whoever designed these slippers doesn't wear slippers
These slippers are well-made and will last a long time. They are attractive. BUT they have two big problems: First, the sizing is off. I ordered an 11 extra wide, which fits me in all other slippers. These are WAY too small. I may be able to stretch them out some, but slippers should fit right out of the box. Second, tags: not only are there tags sewn inside the inner wall of the slippers that rub against your feet (I cut them out), there are tags sewn ONTO THE BOTTOM OF THE INSIDES THAT RUB AGAINST YOUR FEET. These tags serve NO purpose other than to rub against one's feet. I carefully cut them out, but if I'd slipped, I would have sliced open the fleece lining of the slippers. This should NOT be necessary. I can't recommend these slippers to anyone.

Black ones are great, and very different from all the others
I'm not a big fan of the 'lumberjack' look of plaid, so I went with the black version of these slippers. I thought I might have to worry about the tag on the heel, as other reviewers had pointed out, but as you can see in the pics, there is none, just a printed logo. In fact, the black version has some significant differences from the other versions listed. The inside of these slippers are not fluffy which, for me, is perfect. When I first put them on, the base felt a little hard but as I walked around in them for a few minutes, that feeling subsided. They feel soft, but not TOO soft. If you prefer that fluffy feeling, these aren't for you. Visually, you can see the stitching on the black version is also different.I normally wear a size 12 so I ordered the 13s. Width wise, I had no issues and I have very wide feet. There is a very gentle squeeze around the the front part of my foot, but it feels more like a warm hug. They're just a few millimeters too long, but since there is that aforementioned gentle squeeze, they don't slide around all over the sole of my foot. The base is sturdy and I've walked around outside with these on quite a bit.As for durability, we will have to wait and see. I like to come back and revisit reviews for this very purpose, so while I might give these an initially high review, it could change.

Uncomfortable to wear barefoot
Not comfortable to wear barefoot. Those enormous logo tags on the inside bottom of the slippers make it uncomfortable, like the feeling of there being something stuck in your shoe. Get rid of those lame tags and these would be fine

Great slippers!
Very well made slippers. I bought these for my husband who wears a 12. I bought the 13 just because slippers usually run small regardless of the brand. He says these are very comfortable. The sole is great because not only are they supportive for inside the house, he can go outside to the garage or backyard in them. I think they look great, too!

RUNS SMALL
My 13 y/o loves these, but they RUN SMALL. He is a 9.5 and I ordered an11 so he’d have room. Order at least a size or 2 up. The red is true to color like the picture advertised. The bed of the shoe is flat and not much support or cushioning. The bottom of the shoe is a very durable material. Despite all that they are still cozy and will last a long time....which is good unless his feet keep growing uncontrollably because he demolishes everything we buy for him.

Poor durability...VERY poor...
This might seem nit picky but I've had these 7 days and that is already happening and the other one is doing it too just not as bad....I'm sure the rest of the bottom is not going to last too much longer and I haven't even wore them that often because they make my feet feel too warm which might be nice in cooler weather we just haven't had that yet and I'm not sure they will last until we do. They are also pretty small for the size. I'm pretty bummed because I looked for a pair for quite awhile before thinking I found a good pair. Update: As expected a few days later the whole thing fell off and I started getting wet on the bottom of my feet when I walked on damp pavement not even in puddles... and I noticed this new picture problem.

Unrequited love
The slippers seem to be well constructed and would be great for whomever had non-X-wide feet. Sadly, I needed the 10.5 X-wides but they seem to be mislabeled within the Amazon system. I ordered the x-wides and received the wides — twice. I won’t bother to order them again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice ... oh wait, I was fooled twice.Take this review as from someone whose cold toes wish they fit in these nice slippers.

I wanted to love this but the instep made it hard to do so...
As a woman with wide feet, I often turn to men's style shoes when just looking for casual basics. Slippers to me should be functional and warm so I often turn to men's styles when I need a new pair of slippers. I was thrilled that these slippers had a hard-bottomed sole, a nice pattern, and a cozy lining, plus they come in wide widths.Out of the box, they look great, seem durable, and would be comfortable if not for the restrictive instep. It really pushed against the top of my foot and was incredibly uncomfortable, and also limited how far I could get my foot into the slipper. Now, for some people this will not be a problem, but if you're like me and you have a high instep that often gets constricted, even in wide width shoes, be aware that this might be a problem for you. I started out with the 8W and then bought the 9W to see if that would make a difference. Unfortunately, it did not. And given the way these are made, I don't think there would be any stretch or give.Bottom line these would be great comfortable and warm slippers for those without instep issues, and I really wish they worked for me because it makes me sad to send them back.

Good construction and materials
Buffalo plaid colours match my Mark's W.W. macinaw jacket, how cool is that? Appreciate the non-skid and flexible thick enough sole. Pile lining is comfy and warm - will use for short trips outside the house and even in snow not too deep. Stitching is moccasin style adding to the Canadiana look. Expecting a few seasons from these. Fits true to size: medium width is plenty wide for a "D" width foot. Fitting is like a slide, I don't mind that my heel has flattended the shallow heel cup.

Disappointed!
Not bad....not great. Look great and fit nice. But...there not comfortable at all. Uppers are great and the tread is good.but the sole is VERY thin!!! Not a good price for what ya get . I've already gone back to my old pair. More cusion.

Comfortable, sizing is accurate to slightly generous. Sole grippy not slippy
They were exactly as pictured, and the wide sizing is actually wide. I am shoe size 17-5E and these 16W work fine for me as open-heeled slip-ons without my heel hanging over the end at all. The sole is grippy and solid, and the slippers are soft to touch. The sole is not thick spongy soft, but it is comfortable. I would buy them again when the time comes.
