Great Music...Easy to LearnGreat for any fan of Billy Joel's musiic!

Bought for my 11 year old son who loves Billy Joel like his mom. He has 3 years of lessons, and when his piano teacher moved away, I gave him this book to inspire him to continue. He has learned a few of the songs on his own, and is having fun with it. I love hearing Piano Man at random times he sits down to play.

After 30 years away from the piano I recently started playing again and I wanted this book so I could play some of Billy Joel’s songs now without having to wait for my skill set to improve to the more advanced level. This book is perfect for a beginner to intermediate player who loves Billy Joel’s music! Some of the chords are tough but the man is a classically trained pianist so practice makes perfect!

The girlfriend likes Billy Joel and plays piano. She is enjoying the song book a great deal. Mission accomplished.

The sheet music for these songs are easy to read and play.

I'm relatively new to piano and am playing mostly popular music, so the Billy Joel Easy Piano Collection really allows me to play, say, "New York State of Mind" with effortlessness. Growing up on cassettes of his, I am thrilled to now play his music on a daily basis. This book, all of the songs, are accessible and fluid to read. It's my favorite songbook, I think. Billy Joel's songs revolve around the piano. I always look forward to playing these wonderfully melodic tunes.

The only thing critical to say about this book is that the pages are so magnified that it is hard to read both staffs at a time. Otherwise, it is a great book. This seems to be a challenge with a lot of "easy" piano books, but it is much more significant in this book.

Not as big of a selection of songs as I would have liked, but still has the "Biggies" A little more difficult than the average "easy" arrangements, but still playable by the beginner with practice.

This book is excellent for an intermediate piano player. I was able to teach myself 4 of the songs quite quickly; they sound great and true enough to the original. Some of the other songs are harder, but I found 'Piano Man,' 'Just the Way You Are,' 'Honesty' and 'She's Always a Woman' to be intuitive and fun to learn.

「なか見！検索」を見て、購入しましたが、まったく違う内容でした。収録曲も違うし、ボーカル＋ピアノ譜のページが紹介されていたのに、簡単なピアノソロのアレンジ譜面です。英文の紹介も、「５０曲以上」とあるのは、この楽譜のことでなく、２１曲しかありません。「Complete Billy Joel vol.1」の内容が紹介され、レビューもその楽譜へのコメントなので、表紙が変わったのか、廉価版くらいに思い、注文したら、まったく別の楽譜「Easy Piano Collection」です。品名のところにも、「Easy　Piano〜」とは書かれてなく、表紙の写真を拡大すれば、気づくだろうと言われそうですが、かなり間違えやすいと思います。追記：このレビューは、「Easy　Piano〜」のものですが、リンクが張ってあるのか、「Complete　1」にも表示されるようです。購入される場合、ビリーの写真が表紙の楽譜が、「Easy　Piano〜」、緑地にサインの表紙が、「Complete　1」になります。
