Not good enough.
It's difficult to know if this filter does anything other than add a slight magenta cast to the scene. I scoured the internet, but could not find anything to suggest this is a didymium filter which is essential to removing the wavelength of sodium street lighting. I believe it is merely a tinted filter. Upon arrival, I compared it to my Hoya intensifier didymium filter, which removes the halo from sodium street lighting just looking through it. The K&F filter had no worthwhile effect. I did find it strange that the manufacturer suggested altering the white balance on the camera. Why have we bought the filter then? In any case it is sold for about ten times its actual worth, so was returned the following day and a Hoya didymium filter ordered in its place. Something that can be used to accentuate autumn foliage as well as properly remove sodium street light pollution.

Good quality product well priced
Just received this so haven't been out and tried it yet but I've compared it's colour tone to a (much more expensive) Kase 150mm filter which makes me believe it'll be fine. It's packaged really well and has a brown leather-style pouch to store the filter which actually fits quite nicely into my Lowepro filter pouch - I think I'll keep it in that even in the pouch, not only to protect it but I'll be easily able to spot it in the dark! This glass filter fits perfectly in both my Nisi and Lee holder systems so I've given it five stars for the build quality and the fact it looks like it'll do what I need. I'll adjust this review if I discover otherwise when I've taken the first batch of photos with it.

Doesn't work
I have purchased this filter and tried it for the first time last night. I have to point out that i live in a village that doesn't have a great deal of light pollution but i purchased it for situations where it may be needed. I tried it on my Nikon and have to say that the images have come out brown like the before images in the advert. i have tried various ISO settings and shutter speeds on an f 2.8 lens but the results are very much the same so i would advise against spending £60 plus on something that in my mind is not worth it.

removes light pollution from sodium street lighting
This is a specialised filter to remove the orange glow from sodium street lighting during night-sky photography. It looks to be a quality product although, when I first saw it, I was surprised to see how lightly coloured the filter material seemed to be.I have a small spectroscope and this showed that it is, in fact, a vary narrow band filter, which cuts out wavelengths around the orange sodium 'D-lines' but leaves the rest of the spectrum largely intact. It works very well for me but is unlikely to be effective against newer types of broad-spectrum LED street lighting, so don't expect it to be a total 'cure-all'. I've taken off one star because of this limitation but it is very effective at what it does.

Great quality filter
This a a great filter, I’m well impressed with the build quality. Unfortunately poor night sky viewing conditions have meant I’ve yet to see results but I expect very good results.

Useless for astrophotography
It does help a bit with sky glow when taking normal night pictures, like landscapes and such, but it's useless for astrophotography. It's filtering capacity is very light and so you can only get a few more seconds of exposure time compared to not using it at all.
