Works as advertised and fit perfectly
I'm using this in a DROBO 5D. Purchased because old drive failed. For Drobo users, this drive serves as a high speed buffer, especially useful for photo and video editing. But this isn't a Drobo review. The prior "drive failing" error went away by installing this new, (higher capacity) drive in the Drobo system. So far so good.

Item was exactly what I wanted
I've tried these mSATA drives and found them to be of the same speed class as standard SATA drives with the additional benefits of cost savings and size, there are laptops which can boot from these even when not installed in the SATA drive bay.

Don't know this brand, but it works well!
Item arrived quickly and in new condition. Easy installation as the boot drive for a SuperMicro motherboard. Worked immediately upon installation without any problems. Thumb's up!

Flawless
Worked perfectly in my old Toshiba Portege ultrabook. I upgraded its original 100GB Toshiba ssd with this one and had no issues whatsoever. Works like a charm.

These are not High Performance SSDs, nor are they durable.
I rarely write product reviews. I have purchased 2 of these SSDs twice to use as a high speed cache on a file server. The first set barely pushed 400 IOPs on random write request. They failed within 3 months. I replaced them with a better known brand. 2.5 years later I made the mistake of giving these dogfish SSDs another chance. I tried profiling the drives before active use in the system. Neither drive would exceed ~290 IOPs on random writes. The performance on these drives were so bad that the profiling test could not be completed successfully.If you are looking for a drive to fill the void in a pinch and do not care about performance, then this might be for you. If you are looking for decent performance and reliability look elsewhere.

does not work in a pcie slot, must be a msata slot
devices are great, make sure your computer has a msata slot before purchasing, THESE DO NOT WORK IN A MINI PCIE SLOT, the two slits are identicle in size and devices will plug in both slots but these msata ssds require the sata controller not a pci bus. i have a feeling allot of folks complaining about doa products are not aware of this.

Works great
Did speed test it but my operating system is much more responsive and read and writing files doesn't take forever like my old hhd. But we'll see how long it last.
