Japanese? really!
only language printed for it is Japanese. You can figure it out, but, come on, you are selling it in the USA.

happy
handy, cheap, and good enough for general hardness testing these.... the requirement for long winded review is a pain in the neck and I will do no more because of it!

Quick,easy, and inexpensive
As a mechanical engineer, these are a great for quickly getting an approximation of how hard a material is. I use them to determine how easily an unknown material could be machined. For that, they are great, but if you need a precise measurement of hardness you are going to have to spend a lot more money on some serious measurement equipment.

Very nice tool to have around
Very nice tool to have around. The case is surprisingly well built too. Glad I bought them. Take good care of them and they should last a long time.

An easy and fairly cheap way to test the hardness of metals without the use of expensive equipment. Make sure you always start with the hardest file and move down to the softer files when testing. Otherwise you might wear out the softer files on hard materials. En excellent kit to have ready for testing.
