Does what it should do. Doesn't leak.It is very difficult to carry when full without getting wet.Easier to keep in place and refill with a bucket or hose.Needs frequent cleaning used outdoors as slime forms quickly. A bit of a chore getting at all the countours even with a long bottle brush.They do fit well in my broody cage and chick runs and are easy to freshen up by dumping out the water in the bottom.Seem sturdy enough. Were affordable and are way better than what I had before in the way of water dishes.In the main yard I just use 5 gallon buckets with 2 holes cut into the side about 1/3 of the way up.Chick can drown in those, however.I'll be getting a couple more.

I searched online for several days trying to find the ideal waterer for chickens and landed on this one. I am very pleased with my purchase. I love it! I initially wanted a metal waterer but too many reviews mentioned those rusting. I went back to looking at plastic waterers but most were either too big or too small. I finally found this 1 gallon waterer and it is exactly what I need for my hens. High quality, heavy-duty plastic; easy to clean; easy to fill; easy to use; stands up easily and doesn't fall over; one gallon is the perfect size. I really enjoy this waterer and I highly recommend it.

It doesn't leak water and the twist on is why. It's holds a gallon of water, so it's perfect for my chickens. I use this on inside my chicken coop, so I don't have to worry about water getting everywhere. Everything stays dry, which is why I brought this. I highly recommend this product.

I love this pet waterer. I use it for my chickens, but I can see any small pet using this. Thr gallon size is perfect for my small flock. I refill it once a week and wash it up with warm soapy water. I will need to dobthis more frequently in the summer, but so easy to handle.

It works fine but falls apart when carried by the bottom the plastic threads just dont hold

I like this waterer because its easy to clean and screw the top/ bottom on. It is a good size and not too heavy for me. I have carpal tunnel in both hands and this is ideal to carry full of water with no problems. The red base is sturdy also. My other waterer ( lavendar base, not this brand) is a terrible design and i have a terrible time hooking it together. It has a slide and grooves and screwing it togethet is very frustrating. So I recommend this one hands down.

This is a decently molded poultry fountain. It has got to be sturdy because it made it through the mail packed only in a bag!The girls already had a similar one, so no issues with use.
