Dorman 674-889 Catalytic Converter with Integrated Exhaust Manifold Compatible with Select Chevrolet / Pontiac / Saturn Models (Non-CARB Compliant)

Installed on a 2008 Pontiac G6 2.4L. Great fit, no modifications needed. Lower end power returned and sluggish acceleration is gone. FYI GM has extended their warrant to 10 years or 120,000 miles on the catalytic converter. Dealer wanted $999 just for the part because I was at 136,000. I would suggest an E7 star socket, U joint type adapters for ratchet, and O2 sensor socket.

Cheap, defective product. We had a P0420 code and were not able to pass emissions testing because of it. Bought this and had it professionally installed. The code stayed off just long enough for us to pass emissions, but within 2 weeks the code popped back up and kept coming back even after several code resets. A year later we ended up shelling out a few hundred more for a product chosen by the mechanic and, what do you know, the check engine light has been off ever since. Choose another brand.

For those that live in a strict emmisions law state I am in NY and this had a Gm oem lablel on it. Not sure if every one will have one but it cleared my codes and Im a happy camper. The one I had taken off from my car should had never been installed. It was a aftermarket that wouldnt allowed to be sold in my state through a dealer. I hope this works for you!

Easy install car runs awesome

Perfect fit to my 2006 Malibu. The dealer encouraged me to buy AC Delco because the car supposedly would not accept anything else. I had a local shop install this for me and I've had no problems. Power is restored to my car and I couldn't be happier with the Dorman.

After only 3 months, this one has cracked in several places already. No returns, apparently. From what I've read, Dorman gives you the run around too. Didn't realize I needed to buy and extended warranty on such an expensive part. Don't waste your money.

Did not like the way I had to modify the thing to fit when it was supposed to be an OEM style replacement part. Had to do way more work than necessary to complete the repair. Someone needs to talk with the people in the molding and casting department. After I did some metal work, it fit like a glove. Not pleased at all.

Working perfectly, would buy again, fit perfect no modifications needed.

Did the job nicely, however manufacturer should protect gaskets a bit more for transport.
