Caffe RomaItalia Coffee Beans (1kg)

Of course personal taste is everything. These are good beans if you like a full body flavour. I like my coffee to be bold and on the strong side (too strong most would say). I had not heard of this brand and in the past had been disappointed by more famous brands of coffee beans as I had found them a bit 'one dimensional' - if you know what I mean. However as soon as I opened these beans and smelled the aroma I suspected I was in for a treat.I use a grinder and grind to a fine powered I use a very simple 15 bar espresso machine and obtain a good crema. I must admit my coffee consumption has gone up a little since buying these beans.I have bought beans at double the price of these and have expected better. At less than £8 a kilo these beans are amazing and I shall certainly be buying these again.

This is a very reasonable coffee. It has a very pleasant aroma and rich flavour. The three caffeine drinkers in the house really enjoy it.

Since buying our coffee grinder we have tried a few other brand of beans but have preferred these above all others. I don't profess to be a barista but the beans are great for grinding finely. The coffee is not too bitter and when we have friends or family round they always comment on "posh" we are to have such nice freshly ground coffee.Great product and price all with prompt delivery too.

Hubby prefers stronger coffee to this particular brand. Arrived quickly, packaged fine. Priced ok for the product quality, wont purchase again as hubby likes strong coffee & better flavour.

Used these beans in my DeLonghi coffee machine and can only say it makes the worst coffee I have ever tasted. On the lowest setting it is far too strong and now I am stuck with a kg of beans I cannot use.

I usually buy Starbucks coffee from Costco, but they seemed to have stopped selling it, so I've been looking about for something different. Based on the reviews from here, I ordered this coffee and its quite pleasant, has a wee bit of a bitter aftertaste and at the moment I'm comparing it to other coffee I've nicked from my mate, he gave me some of the coffee in a big blue bag from Costco, can't remember what it's called.On balance I think I prefer the big blue bag from Costco, but I'm almost finished that, so will be reverting back to this coffee after that and will update this review once I've gone back to it.The delivery costs are a bit silly >50% of the price of the coffee, but overall it's not too dear

Absolutely lovely! Rich in flavour, strong in taste and is the perfect roast for me. It might not be for everyone's taste as these are quite strong, they are Dark Roast by the way, I usually get Lavazza Extra Crema but those always lacked that certain something, so I'm really pleased with these beans.I do recommend getting these as I doubt they would disappoint, I guess id you order them and they are too strong just make yourself a single shot rather than double shot espresso.

As I write this it is currently unavailable. We have had a singing dancing coffee machine for a couple of months at this point and have tried half a dozen different coffee beans. These are the first that have made me want to go back for more. I don't really know much about coffees but this smells nice, tastes nice and leave an after taste that leaves me satisfied for a few hours.There is another cafe roma from the same seller, That's definitely next.
