Diamond Candy Waterproof Hiking Backpack for Men and Women, Lightweight Day Pack for Travel Camping

Used it in a weeklong hiking trip. Served very well to carry all of the stuff I needed. Well built, light weight and lots of pockets to store stuff. Has arrangements for hydration pack and I loved using that as opposed to carrying a bottle. So much easier to access.It rained for extended periods on several days. While the rain cover helped, it didn't prevent from keeping the backpack completely dry as water will still get to the back portion of the backpack that is pressed against your back and the straps etc. Once they get sufficiently wet the water seeps into other parts of the bag. This will be the case with any bag really unless you put on a poncho that covers the bag fully. But it dries quickly.Was able to carry hiking poles and a heavy DSLR camera with a heavy lens in the bag in addition to additional layers of clothing, water shoes, lunch box, rain jacket, snacks, battery pack etc. Highly recommend this bag.

First hike: loaded with a gallon of water, lunch, jackets, binoculars, etc. plus extra water bottle on side. Weighted down. Distribution of weight easy to arrange with the pockets, no pull on shoulders, chest and waist straps easily adjusted to where they need to be, very nice comfortable fit. Am 5’9”” male, 170. Partner 5’ 5” 112 female, re adjusts nicely for her. Nice amount of pockets, plenty of room, plan to use for flying/travel. Only complaint: phones (iPhone 12) do not fit in waist belt zip pockets, but would not give up for the other features & price. Very well made, thoughtful design, good zippers, will be ordering another.

For reference: I compared this to the Maelstrom 40l, and a similar bag to the Maelstrom we had at home. I have traveled a lot and have more bags and rollers than I care to admit. After a recent trip to Europe where my US regulation carry on wouldn’t fit European airplane overheads, and cobblestone streets and sidewalks made my wheeled luggage more like wrestling with a bull, I decided to rethink how to pack for my next trip abroad.PROS and what stood out AND the trick I learned:The Diamond Candy is sewn with smaller stitches, which will hold up better. It has the largest storage pockets on the waist band and holds my iPhone 12 easily. The water bottle holders are larger. The padded tablet pocket floats and keeps my iPad from touching the ground. A huge plus for protecting it. Bright colored rain cover. Multiple attachment points. Multiple, easily accessible pockets. Fabric zipper pulls that are NOT finger-sized loops (which would be easy for pick pockets to unzip.) The liner fabric and pocket fabric inside the back is higher quality. Ideally I wanted to use the Doughnut Colorado that I already have. What changed my mind? the comfortable shoulder pads, waist band with storage pockets, and outside pockets that come in handy when at the airport, on a train or walking.The trick I learned will help me board the plane and not have to fuss with accessing what I need once I sit down.HERE’S THE TRICK. Get an airplane seat storage pocket to hold ehat you need when you’re flying (tablet, book, power bank, eye mask, ear plugs, glasses.) Lay this backpack on the bed, place the seat storage pocket on the backpack. Unclip the sleeping back straps. Use them to make an X across the storage pocket. Clip them into the trek pole clips. This means you now have loose trek straps. Easy peasy. Cross them in an X across the front. Clip them into the (now unused) sleeping bag clips. This workaround actually provides more attachments in front.I travel a lot, and I can’t express how much easier this is going to make going through security, waiting in lines (wearing the pack. No luggage to wheel), and transitioning from putting my things in the overhead, wishing I had taken out this or that.I have tried wearing travel jackets with pockets so I have much of what I need. THIS seat pocket solution and strapping it to the back of the backpack is the easiest solution of all.

I used this bag when Im going to the beach, out camping or just riding my bike around. Its very well built and it super light, but very strong aswell. Theres plenty of pockets so you can carry around what you need.

Impressively-lightweight backpack with good padding and great capacity. This held up well over my 3-week trip on planes, trains, a ship, and various automobiles. The hardest part was remembering where I put everything. I was particularly impressed with the padding on the back that supported the weight but didn't stick to my back, so there was good ventilation. Give this backpack a fair chance, and it will impress you!

For the cost, this seems to be a great pack. I've used dut twice in short hikes so far, packed it pretty full and it's been comfortable. I don't have anything negative to say about it. I'm happy with the purchase.

I’ve been using this bag for a few weeks. It’s very durable, holds lots of cargo, and highly adjustable. I use it everyday. Very handy when I go grocery shopping ( I walk everywhere ). I recommend this bag for your consideration.

Bonne capacité de stockage dans 3 compartiments fermés et deux poches latérales élastiques. Sangles ajustables à de nombreux endroits qui auraient tendance à se dérégler en phase transport. Sac de protection en cas de pluie rangé une poche sous le fond du sac. Confortable à porter une fois réglé.Plutôt dubitatif sur la longévité du textile et des coutures au niveau des fermetures zip (textile assez fin et fermetures jugées pour l'instant plutôt fragiles en comparaison de mon précédent sac à dos qui a tenu plus de 20 ans ...).Dans l'ensemble, ce sac donne pour l'instant satisfaction.

Ho acquistato questo zaino per un viaggio dove c'è "divieto" di portare un trolley. Per ora ancora non ho avuto modo di testarne la comodità ma a prima vista mi è sembrato di ottima fattura. Possiede molte tasche, schienale ergonomico e con lo zaino è compresa anche la copertura impermeabile.Sono molto soddisfatta anche del colore che rende molto di più dal vivo che in foto.

Ich freue mich echt diesen Rucksack gekauft zu haben! Er sitzt super bequem am Rücken, hat Haltegurte am Boden für ein Zelt und echt viele Taschen zum sicheren Verstauen mehrerer Dinge. Außen sind zusätzlich viele Riemen und verstellbare Laschen zum anhängen von noch mehr Utensilien. Perfekt für eine rucksacktour!

Da ich ländlich wohne und kein Auto habe, suchte ich einen passenden Rucksack um meine Einkäufe zu erledigen und im Bus nach Hause zu transportieren.Der Rucksack hat massig Stauraum, er hat 3 separate Fächer (ein großes Hauptfach für, 1 mittleres und 1 kleineres) die jeweils innerhalb nochmals kleine Fächer haben zum verstauen von Handy und Geldbeutel, 2 Seitennetze , wo man super Flaschen lagern kann und oberhalb nochmal 1 ganz kleines Fach mit Reißverschluss wo sich perfekt Schlüssel verstauen lassen.Ich kann in dem Rucksack einen Wocheneinkauf verstauen, dementsprechend ist er vom Platz her nicht nur zum wandern, sondern auch zum einkaufen super und sieht zudem noch modisch aus.Seine Schultergurte sind gut gepolstert, so dass es auch nicht einschneidet wenn man nur ein dünnes Shirt und schwere Dinge im Rucksack trägt, für noch besseren Halt gibt es bei Bedarf auch noch eine Hüftschnalle und eine Schnalle in Brustkorbhöhe.Ich bin jedenfalls sehr zufrieden mit dem Rucksack und kann ihn bedingungslos weiter empfehlen.
