New means used?
I havent used this but it looks like others have. I wouldn't think I'd get a rusted bit and all diamond plating was gone on bit tip. Somewhat upset. Looks used and worn out. Guess I'm sending this back. Bought a Milwaukee bit from Home depot cheaper and it cuts through granite like butter.

Worth Every Penny
I bought this to repoint my masonry fireplace. Was worried on how to remove the cement head joints since there aren't as many solutions in the US as in England. I came across this solution that threaded on to my standard angle grinder. Glad I did. It tackled both sides of the firebox and most of hearth with one piece. Just make sure to take it slow and if you have any soft bricks, to really hold on to the grinder as it will want to follow the path of least resistance. Only downside is that I wish it could go deeper in one pass. Meaning, I wish the diamond tip part was longer so I could rake out more in one pass. But you just take two passes. And make sure to have the wife hold the shop vac near the brick and your dust problem will be gone.

Time saver
These are excellent bits. I don't write a lot of reviews but these have been such a help to me. I'm a general contractor and often do my own tile and stone work. These bits cut cleanly right through tile and stone and without wandering. Great quality for the price. They work excellent for shaping as well if you have an odd cutout. They've saved me so much time. Ordering more sizes.

Good quality; durable; paid for itself on the first task.
I used it to cut a 4-inch hole in stucco. It did so in a short time. I suggest buying a mandrel with a pilot shaft sticking out the front to help in getting the cutter started. I didn't have one, so I placed a piece of wood nearby to support the back edge of the cutter.THIS TOOL PAID FOR ITSELF ON THE FIRST USE. The diamond grit held up well. I couldn't see any wear.

Worked good for one hole
It would not thread completely into a standard hole saw mandrel (2nd pic) Made it about half way and it locked down like the thread pitch was off. Put it in a vice and locked it down w a wrench. Sacrificed a mandrel for it, no biggie. Start real slow and angled till u get a groove then straighten up. Worked good and was 1/3 the price of one at Lowe’s and HD. The granite core stayed stock in bit so I either have to figure out how to beat it out or it’s a one and done bit. If I have more than one hole to do keep that in mind. Would buy it again.

Great bit.
Cut holes in a .24” think porcelain tiles. Easy to start and cut the holes. Came out clean and made a nice hole. Don’t see any wear on the bit yet. Very beefy bit. I had bought another name brand locally for 3x the cost as this, just in case this didn’t work, but will return. This is from China. Came mailed from China pretty quickly. Would buy a set if I ever needed to do this again. The diamonds are at least 1/2” up the bit so I imagine I can use it to polish or enlarge the hole. I used it to rough cut holes in porcelain tile I was installing in a new shower.

I would definitely recommend this to drill holes through concrete block - worked ...
I had to drill a 3" hole through a hallow concrete block wall to install a mini split A/C. I purchased this to connect to my grinder. I was not looking forward to drilling the hole thinking it would take 20-30 minutes just to go through one side of the block. It took less than 20 seconds to cut the hole! I would definitely recommend this to drill holes through concrete block - worked perfect!

It does the job.
Cuts holes smoothly. Just keep it wet. I dipped the bit in water every ten seconds or so, it took about 5 passes to go through a 1/2 inch porcelain tile. I also drilled a hole in a piece of kerdi board and taped it to the work piece to prevent wobbling. The bit does not come with a drill shank, so make sure you have, or get, one at the same time you purchase hole bit.
