Easy to install. Seems like a good replacement.
Our lock on the driver's side had broken. Apparently, this is a common issue. My husband said this was a relatively easy installation. He followed APDTY's YouTube video for installation instructions. Seems like a good replacement without having to pay dealership prices.

Exactly like OEM as far as I can tell.
The part went in easy. We did break one mounting pin on the door panel but it was just an alignment pin.The door works like new again.

It was so easy, a 10 year old could do it with ...
2010 Ford Fusion SEL. Driver's side front door handle broke. I could still open the door, but it could not lock any more unless I manually locked it from the inside. While at the dealership for routine maintenance and to use my "bumper-to-bumper" warranty, they told me it was almost $200 after my deductible since it is not covered. I asked them to explain in my contract how it states ALL parts including consumable parts are covered. I even escalated past the management levels. Needless-to-say, I will never buy a Ford again. But back on track...I purchased this, watched the YouTube video, and completed it in 10 minutes. It was so easy, a 10 year old could do it with a little supervision. Here is what it takes to get it done.Tools needed: Torx driver, nut driver, and small screwdriver if you need help pulling the circle cover and door panel off1. Remove the little circle cap where the handle is that hides the torx screw. Remove the torx screw.2. Remove the plate surrounding the handle and unplug the lock plug3. Inside the little hand piece of the arm rest remove the little rubber piece hiding the hex screw. Remove the hex screw4. On the outside edge of the door panel, there are 2 torx screws. Remove both of them.5. Now you can pull the door panel from the door. The first one takes a little muscle. If you can't get it use a screw driver to help pop it. Once one of them is popped off, the rest are simple.6. Once the door panel is off, there are 3 wires connected to the window mechanism. You can unplug if you want. I left them there, rested it on my legs. It did not put any pressure on the wires.7. Use the hex driver to remove the broken handle. Detach the cable mechanism.8. Just reverse these steps to put the new handle in.It is really that simple. I thought it was a 2 beer job. I didn't even have time drink half of one while working on it.

2012 Ford Fusion
Needed this for my mothers 2012 Ford Fusion. The drivers side handle quit working. I found this and decided to give it a try. Worked great! Install was not bad. Worse part of the install are the clips that hold the interior panel to the door are hard to pop out. Product has been installed and have had no issues with it for about a month.

Quick Project
The door handle broke on my wife's 2012 Ford Fusion. Dealers wanted around $50 for this item. I had to keep in mind that the factory one is the one that broke so paying $50 for similar quality wasn't going to happen. This part arrived quickly, appeared to be equal to or better than the factory one in weight so the materials seemed as sturdy or more so. I went onto YouTube and found a short video that walked me through the replacement. One thing you will probably want to get is an automotive trim tool (pry bar). A shorter one is fine for this job. That definitely made pulling the door panel easier than my previous method of using multiple flat head screw drivers on past vehicles. I almost always broke at least one clip every time I used that method. Start to finish, I was done in about 15 minutes.

In and Out Through the Door
I bought this item to replace a broken door handle for my Ford Fusion... apparently, the breaking door handle is a pretty common occurrence. After watching an on-line video tutorial, I was ready to tackle the job myself. This is a great product, for a great price... and I was able to replace the broken one in about a half an hour -- which saved me $300 at the mechanic shop... There is a "Cheat" where you can still open the car door with a broken door handle, but that's a story for another day! Happy DIY everybody...

Seems like a good quality replacement handle
Fit my Ford Fusion. Seems like a good quality replacement handle. Time will tell on how it holds up. I know very little about cars, but this was very quick and easy to install. There are videos on youtube showing how to do it.

The price was good. Quality is ok
The price was good. Quality is ok. Could be I got a bad one. There seems to be a sharpe spot on the handle part. Probably just a defect on mine. Other wise works well and easy to replace
