Too much give in heel strap...
I was looking forward to these shoes. Unfortunately, when I tried them on, I realized my foot was allowed to slide too far back in the shoe, so my heel hit the back edge of the foot bed. I tried loosening up the strap too allow my foot to go further forward in the shoe, but that didn't help. The issue is there is too much give in the heel strap so there isn't enough support to keep your foot in the foot bed of the sandal. I love the style and the color, but had to return for this poor fit issue.

They aren’t stylish but they are comfortable
First off let me start by saying I tried on only one quick when I got them and I hated how they looked. In fact I thought about returning them. I then proceeded later to try both on and walk around and I was impressed with how comfortable they were and looking at them again on both feet they looked pretty decent.I will probably buy a 2nd pair when they are on sale and I look forward to wearing these on my upcoming vacation to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons.

The standard for comfortable footwear!
I bought (and still wear regularly) a pair of Chaco Z/1's in 2006. At the time, due to having a low arch, they were the most comfortable pair of footwear that I had ever owned. They are perfect for going through TSA at the airport. 2013, I purchased a pair of Chaco Playa Pro sandals. Although they are more casual, they are more comfortable than the Z/1's.Seeing that Chaco made a closed toe design, I chose to purchase a pair so as to have something a little more "dressy". Again - they are just as comfortable as the others!I'm a customer for life!

Great even for high instep and large ankles
My husband has had ankle surgery and in addition to a high instep and a size 13 foot, his ankles are quite large in circumference. I was worried he might not be able to pull these shoes on but they work great! There is enough give that after adding an additional strap to the existing pull strap, he's able to easily pull them on. Although they fit snuggly around his ankles, they do not cut off circulation nor do they leave marks. Great purchase and Chaco quality and support.

Not as expected
I wanted these to fit and work to replace the Keen sandals that had torn at the seams but the size was larger than expected. Even if the size was correct, I felt that the material was too high on the foot and would have rubbed against my ankle bone and cause issue. Will need to look for something lower.

Comfy, covered toe, Chaco Sandals
I’ve had Chaco sandals before but this time I was looking for a closed toe model. The Odyssey fits the bill perfectly. The sandal is comfortable, fits well, feels good. The package was shipped promptly, the price was right, and the product was exactly as described.

Almost great
Amazing concept with almost great actualization. Stitching in a few key areas rub my foot and would give me blisters on long hikes, which i bought them for. I got a steal I them so I'll make them work for other uses.

I love these so much
I bought these for a camping trip and wore them for the first time while I was out there. A pretty risky move, I know, but they performed wonderfully. I was looking for a shoe that could do it all during the warmer months--something that could act as a comfortable and supportive hiking shoe while also acting as a water shoe. These shoes are serious, and I mean SERIOUSLY comfortable while hiking or just hanging around camp. I got them soaking wet and they were dry within a few hours. Another thing I really like about them is that if it gets a little chilly, you can just wear them with socks. With socks on, you can barely even tell they're "sandals." They just look like some sort of active-wear shoe. Lastly, you can totally wear them like slippers if you want to. I did. When things were winding down around the campfire, I just stepped on the heels and wore them like slippers or clogs. They're soft enough in the back that I could barely feel them under my heels. I highly recommend these for anyone looking for the perfect all-around outdoor "sandal" (they really don't feel like sandals at all. more like airy, quick-drying shoes).
