Perfect for older kids with baby siblings!
My 6 year old and 4 year old love playing Uno and play on a daily basis. But if ever the paper cards were left out, their teething baby sister would find them and demolish a few within minutes. These are PERFECT for that kind of situation. They're made of a flexible, sturdy plastic and so far not one has been damaged by drool or ripping. I also love that they come with a plastic storage case. ALL cards should come with a case like this one. And my girls really like the "Wild Downpour" cards that are added to this deck. These cards make everyone draw at one time while changing the color. Now it's their mission in life to find and use those cards! I've always been a fan of Uno, but now I'm an even bigger fan because of these cards! Definitely worth the money rather than buying deck after deck of paper cards.

Love how it's waterproof!
My husband bought these for me a long time ago, and then I saw how much my niece was into the game so I bought her a set for Christmas. I think they are so much better than the regular deck of Uno cards. The don't bend or tare and it does come with a ring you put your cards on so you don't lose them. If you wanted, you really could play in the tub or swimming pool with these. I also like to collect different playing cards and the waterproof ones are always my favorite because they are so durable. It's a must buy if you have kids and like playing this game! This deck will last forever!

Great for kids
We use this version of Uno with our 3 1/2 year olds. The cards are a little smaller than the standard deck, and they're much sturdier (so you don't have to worry as much about cards getting damaged/bent). We removed the "special" cards for now and started always playing open-handed, and 3-year-olds can handle the game. We'll add in the special cards as they get older. Good for family game nights.Do yourself a favor, though, and get a large one of those metal loose-leaf rings to use instead of the flimsy plastic one that comes with the deck. We use one and just hang it up so it's always ready to go!

Love it!
We've put these cards through the ringer, hot water, cold water, under water, dropped, thrown and they've took it all with only one card getting some cosmetic scratches. They do stick together if they're wet, so I recommend giving them a good shuffle when they're dry, but even wet it's still possible to shuffle them (just a bit harder). The only negative thing I can say about them is the carabiner that comes with them is difficult to put on and take off, but that can easily be swapped out if it bothers you. Personally I don't mind, so I'm still using the one that comes with it.

Item as promised, but I am offering a few tips on it
The item is water resistant and we have used it at the beach and pool several times without major issues.I will say that the cards tend to stick together when wet. This makes it difficult to shuffle and deal and you need to really take time to pull the cards apart and make sure everyone has the right number.I like the ring feature, eps. b/c I have two small kids (2 and 5) who love open packs of cards and walk off with the cards when I am not watching. This prevents that--yah!On drawback, is that after using the cards about two times a few started to show signs of wear and the color/number rubbed off a little. But, its not the end of the world and the cards are still usable. All and all, they have worked out for us.

Perfect and portable cards that can get wet!
Wow, all these years suffering through soggy, crumpled, and chewed cards (from infants, not animals) and *now* I find these? Ah well, better late than never. Got this set as a birthday present for my 4-yr-old and she digs that she can carry them around on the carabiner I bought with it (thanks to other reviews here - the included plastic clip is worthless). Take these to the pool, the beach, or just play with them at home, they have such a nice feel and look to them. And they look like they'll age much better than our sorry-looking UNO deck that has been truly loved over the years.
