10 Ft. X 20 Ft. Super Heavy Duty 8 Oz. Brown Tarp - 16 Mil Thick

Finally a high quality long lasting Tarp! Bought it in November, It's mid-march now, so almost 6 months. Looks pretty much the same as when I bought it. Like anything else, I wondered should I buy a few cheaper ones or pay more for what should last longer then getting multiple cheaper ones together. I'm buying this tarp again, not because there's an issue with the one I already bought, but getting another one for a 2nd boat I have. I wanted to wait to be sure. From the current pace of wear, which is in almost constant sun, high heat (I'm in the south), wind and rain, I think it will last about 1.5 years or so. Certainly 1 full year based on what I see so far. Could maybe even make it full 2 years. Hope that helps in your decision making. My one primary complaint buying anything in general is how even when you want to pay more, it's hard to find high quality products anymore. Most everything on amazon there always seems to be quite a few one star reviews. As I write this, the lowest reviews are 3 stars. This product has exceeded my expectations, it's thick and high quality, color has not faded in over 5 months in direct sun.UPDATE and TIP: August 14 2016 - The tarp started flaking and I waited too long to flip it over so it started to rip. It's lasted about 10 months, in hot South Florida sun. My tip to extend the lift is to flip your tarp at the first sign of any flaking where the brown specs start coming off and there's white underneath. I assume each side has UV protection and after 6-8 months my guess is the UV on the side I had become ineffective. So flipping the tarp over I think would have given me a few extra months or more. I'm reordering it now, as I had to tape a few rips. I planned to flip it when I started seeing the wear but time got away from me and then it got progressively worse. Still a great tarp and lasted 2x or more longer than the cheaper ones. I expect my next one, if I flip it over, to last probably 12-16 months based on my past experience.

We keep our boat in a storage yard, and not under cover. Sun, rain and wind caused the tarp we had over it to tear. Therefore we needed a new one. This one was the heaviest thickness we could find in the size we needed. Other reviewers noted that there is a seam down the middle like two 10' tarps were sewn together, this is a true fact, however, it did not bother us. The tarp was true to size and fit well over our boat. The grommets looked sturdy for tie downs. It's just been a little over a week, so we cannot tell how it will hold up in heavy rains, etc., so far we are pleased.

This is the only tarp we use on our old travel trailer that tends to leak near the roof vents. It stays on year round and lasts about 2 years- the trailer is kept outside year round. This is a thick tarp and an attractive brown.

I have been pleasantly surprised by these tarps after using a couple of them to cover equipment over the course of a harsh, very windy winter. They are not as heavy duty as a vinyl truck trailer type tarp, but are the toughest poly tarp I have found.

Very heavy duty tarp. So far very happy with it although only time will tell on how it handles the weather elements. I have only been using it for a month to keep water out of the windows of a wrecked car but so far it has protected the inside from rain and sun damage. Better than any other tarp I’ve ever used

When it comes to a thick heavy duty tarp this is the one and the price is good. If you'll looking for a heavy duty tarp to cover boats, campers or your wood pile this tarp will definetly do the job. I use mine for hauling piles of leaves to the truck, and to cover the wood pile. I was really surprised at how stiff this tarp was when I opened the package. only thing is when the temperature drops it does get really stiff to handle, but how many people are going to be using this in freezing temps? This tarp is heavy. Well made and will out last my life time. I used this to cover a outside cat 'patio' for my 8 cats, lined with store made wire cage sections. I use 2 by 3 lumber to support the roof and I put on cheap plywood top and covered by this tarp completely. This tarp was everything I wanted, especially since I dont want to keep replacing the tarp every other year. If you are looking for a heavy tarp, this is the one and priced only a little more than those cheapes in the big box stores.

So far this has been the best tarp for longevity that I have had over the last several years, covering my bass boat.
