For the price, this was a very good pot to get. I made my first pot of soup today and it cooked great. I love that I had the perfect sized pot I wanted for my soups now. And, I like that the lid isn't thick or heavy- it's thinner but still does the job of holding the heat well. And, for a little over twenty dollars this was a great find- I didn't think to find a pot this big in this price range. The pot is also light-weight, easy to wash- anything heavier would have really been too much for me to clean up- when washing.Thank you for a large pot at a very low price! As long as it cooks the soups I like- which it does, you can't beat what you get. All the other pots this big I looked at were much more expensive and had I not found the IMUSA manufactured 12-Quart I might not have been able to afford a soup pot at all this month. I needed to prepare spaghetti for 25. This cooked 3 packages of spaghetti brilliantly. It’s slightly bigger than the pots we get in home cookware sets, much lighter, and does the job. I’m very satisfied.

I read reviews as they help make an educated purchase. That being said, I agree you get what you pay for. The pot was cheap and as such it’s very thin and the heat doesn’t quiet distribute evenly. But I expected what I received. So if you want a heavier pot pay more for it or buy this one and it will do the job.

The stainless is a little thinner/lighter weight than expected, but more than adequate to support the 12 quart capacity. Hard to beat for the price. If your looking for top notch quality stainless pots, then look elsewhere. If you're looking for a inexpensive stainless pot to get the job done, then your set, but don't expect to much.For those reviews that state this must be aluminum because a magnet doesn't stick to it, well a magnet WILL NOT stick to 304 or 316 stainless steel either. Cheap stainless like 400 series (409,430,439) it will stick partially.

Comes with a huge difficult to remove sticker on the side of the pot. Hot soapy water had no effect on it. GooGone sticker remover had no effect on it. Heat gun had no effect short of burning it. Had to use an aggressive solvent to get the sticker off. Lots of time wasted on just the sticker.Made of very thin steel. I suppose on the bright side it is very light if that's a plus for you. It will dent very easily though.Mine arrived missing the lid. Though that's more an Amazon problem I suppose? I'm not sure who left the lid out, just that I didn't get one.

Good price, not worth the hassle. This thing comes with a large sticker on it that defies scrubbing, heat...I even tried the peanut butter method, and the sticker remains. I called the company. This thing says made is USA however, their site asks if you want to translate from French to English. I could not understand CS due to their strong accent. I tried writing them, I doubt the message went through. The metal says stainless but is not magnetic, it is thin and surprisingly light weight for steel. I am concerned about using this pot, that is, if the sticker ever comes off.

It is not the best pot, but for the money it is worh it.

I wanted a cheap pot that is big enough for large quantities of broth - pho soup, ramen, matzo ball soup, beef/chicken consome. This is exactly what I needed - as somebody else mentioned in a previous review, this is not your fancy, sturdy, expensive pot. It is so light that indeed I felt the box arrived empty :-) But it does the trick - deep enough (12 l one) and fast boiling. The handle screws are solid, at least for the pot I got, but other reviewers complained about leakages. It is wise to fill the pot below the handle screws’ level anyway, to allow for the gentle boiling roll to go on unhindered. The label has indeed a stubborn glue that keeps it stuck to the pot, but wiping it with some Goo Gone releases it nicely, without scratches. All in all, good pot - affordable and meant for large batches of liquid you want to then store in the freezer.

C'est certain qu'au prix qu'il était je ne m'attendais pas à une super qualité mais au bout d'une heure sur le bbq ou sur le poêle l'eau ne bouille toujours pas et il reste marqué après l'avoir lavé, donc je m'attendais au moins à ce qu'il chauffe. Je ne sais pas avec quel matériau c'est fait mais mon chaudron paderno 20 minutes maximum et ça bouille. Donc grosse lacune à ce niveau. J'avais acheté deux grosseurs et là, je ne sais pas quoi faire avec le donner c'est comme un cadeau empoisonné.
