Cascadian Farm Organic Granola, French Vanilla Almond Cereal, 13 oz (Pack of 6)

If this review was just about the cereal and what it tastes like, it would get 5 stars. It is delicious. Now granted it isn’t the healthiest of granolas because sure if you checked, which I never do, the ingredient list would probably include either sugar or some kind of sweetener. I know it’s in there because that is part of why it tastes so darn good!! But I don’t look because then I can pretend to myself that I am eating granola so I am eating more healthfully than if it was just regular breakfast cereal. That said, if you aren’t watching your sugar intake and you like granola, this is some of the best that I have found. It also used to be more reasonably priced than it is now. I think the cheapest I saw in the list of sellers was around $25/case (6 boxes) which is more than $4/box and they are smaller boxes then all of the other flavors that Cascadian Farms sells (I never understand why they do that. Do they really think we won’t notice??!!?). At $4+ per box, you may as well go to the localGrocery store where you don’t have to get an entire case. Last I checked here in SW Florida, it was about $4.19/box. If you go to Walmart, they charge about $3.25/box. That is the kind of price I expectTo see here on Amazon. Given that I bought it on Aug 6, the prices must have gone up over the summer. In a month’s time the prices here on Amazon have gone up a lot. Do not get me wrong, I love this cereal. In fact, it is because I do like it so much that I don’tmind buying it by the case in order to get the best price for it. So while I definitely recommend the taste of this cereal, I do so with the caveat that you should make sure you check the prices. Don’t pay more than $3-something per box. It may be worth more, but it can be had for less so why pay more?!?! Hope that helps with your decision.

the purpose of this product for breakfast. However, it is tasty for a dessert, a cruble topping for a dessert or any other use your imagination can conceive. I will order this again and if you like breakfast cereal you might like it too.

Everything is great except that it is too sweet, even for my children and that's a lot to say coming from them. So I would have given them 5 stars if they would have been less sweeter.

Minimal shredding, so the cereal actually has clusters. Love the taste
