Pelican1050 Micro Case - for iPhone, GoPro, Camera, and more (Yellow/Clear)

This box us the perfect water day accessory. It's very durable, snaps securely closed and easy to take along. Fits my phone, keys and cards well. The only thing I would like is if the carabiner were more durable, but I changed it out for my own. I've bought 2 for friends and they also love them.

I wanted a place to store a GoPro Hero 7 and protect it from the elements until I deploy it. Fits great along with a waterproof camera housing making this a grab and go solution. I didn't notice in the write-up that the yellow internal material is soft. This was a welcome surprise. If you remove the yellow material the case is otherwise completely translucent clear polycarbonate (I presume that's what it is anyway). The clear cover looks wimpy in photos but it is in fact quite substantial and is as thick as the rest of the product.. The addition of the little carabiner is a nice touch. If you don't like it on the case reuse it elsewhere. Another feature I didn't notice in photos is that there is a place for a MOLLE type strap on each side of the case. This would allow you to attach it to a pack or something and also allow you to wrap a cord around it if you were twitchy about relying on just the single latch to prevent an unintentional opening. Overall a well built and well engineered product. Nice job Pelican.

I have owned other Pelican boxes and have been impressed by the quality. This purchase is for my kayak. When I go paddling I need something watertight to place my iPhone 6S (with cover), wallet and car keys/expensive remote. This is the perfect size. Everything fits. The case comes with a small carabiner I can clip to seat webbing inside the kayak or deck rigging on outside. The cover is clear so I can see contents easily and the latch is firm so I know it seals when it clicks shut.I looked at many of the waterproof bags for mobile phones on the market but I don't trust any of them. They can be easily damaged creating a leak. Many new mobile phones are water resistant for short periods of time. But, expensive car remotes and smart keys are not and can easily cost half the price of a new mobile phone.The waterproof bags or smaller and lighter, but when the going gets tough, the bags will go to the bottom of the river or lake and the Pelican will float on top.

A friend gave me a 1040 as a gift, and my husband a 1050 and the 1050 is worth the extra cost - fits a couple of phones and other items AND the carabiner keeps in attached safely to your boat or board. Totally waterproof, sturdy, and indestructible! Now I get these for friends who admire ours when we are out boating!

I was given a sweet waterproof bluetooth speaker to use for river floats (UE Wonderboom- it's awesome, I highly recommend it!!) but I had to figure out a way to take my phone along to actually play the music! Pelican brand was highly recommended and my Galaxy S6 fits in this perfectly. While I haven't completely submerged this, it's gotten jostled and splashed pretty well and my phone has stayed dry. It was a great purchase (and a cute color that's easy to spot if it somehow gets disconnected from you)

Bought this case to protect my iPhone 5, snacks and sandwiches while exploring caves underground. The Pelican case gets placed in a backpack and then the backpack gets thrown down passages and tunnels, dropped 20-30 feet, and dragged through mud and water. So far it has protected its contents successfully. It feels easy to open and close with the latch. I have not fully submerged the case yet, though. I like the small caribiner clip if I want to attach the case to something to keep from losing it.

Use min in a RZR. Fits great in open compartment up front. Happy with the product. It is self-explanatory so I'm not going to write a huge review. It is a box. It is waterproof. It has a clear lid. It is yellow. It takes a decent amount of impact.
