Vapor Apparel Made in USA Women's UPF 50+ UV Sun Protection Outdoor Performance Long Sleeve T-Shirt

So happy to have found a long sleeve sun protection top made in the USA! High quality, comfortable top that actually does what it claims. The top is form-fitting but not constricting, so if you want a looser, more relaxed fit, order one size up. The sleeves are quite long, but I like that I can cover part of my hand with them. I am 5'3", 34B, size 6, average athletic build, and I ordered a Medium (I usually wear a size small or medium top), and it's a nice comfortable fit. I like the raglan sleeve so that there's no shoulder seam. The shirt hits at mid-hip and is longer in the back. I ordered a similar Vapor Apparel Sun Protection top knowing that it was not made in the USA, and I was delighted to find that it was made in Columbia, not China! The price was better than many of the made in China brands, and I'm glad to be supporting a company that sells American made garments.

Edited: Since I already washed the shirt, I kept it, and of course wore it. I’m changing my review because although the shirt unraveled in the wash on the wrist, it has been a great shirt. On long runs I have worn it to save my skin from the sun. It has been comfortable and cool even in warm weather. I’ve also washed it again and have not had any more unraveling. I will probably purchase another for running.I received this long sleeve spf shirt yesterday and was hoping to wear it today after I washed it. The shirt didn’t even make it to the drying cycle before it started to unstitch in the sleeve. Totally bummed because my skin needs a break from the sun.

Kept me cooler than I expected in 91+ humid weather. I was definitely cooler !

It is comfortable, dries fast, but the light blue one?... it picks up stains like CRAZY. I wore it bike riding and somehow got amazing stains all over it. I'm constantly using stain fighters on it to keep the integrity of the fabric's color. Next time, I'll buy a gray or brown or something. Still, protects me well, and keeps direct sun off of my arms while biking and hiking.

I usually wear a small but read the reviews and wanted it a little loose ....got a large ....glad I did .....fits just the way I wanted ...

This shirt is great. Feels good and fits good. I bought one size larger than I normally buy because I wanted it a little loose and its perfect. I will buy more.

I love that these shirts protect my arms from sunburning. They are not too hot to wear in the sun and are very comfortable. This is my 4th shirt and will not be my last.

Fantastic shirt. I am very sensitive to heat, but love kayaking in the heat of South Carolina summer. This shirt is wonderful as it is has proven to be a great defense to the sun. My hands are now several shades darker than my arms, since I have been using this shirt for sun protection. And, once the shirt get wet -with either sweat or ocean water- you feel like you have tiny air conditioners all over your body where the shirt it. I lent one to my sister who came to the Charleston area to see the eclipse this August. She is from Vermont and the temperature in Charleston was brutally hot. Initially she scoffed at wearing long sleeves in such heat, but after I finally persuaded her to do so, she was sold and is going to buy one for herself. And I have to stress that being a breast cancer savior and on the medications for that, I really suffer from the heat. I highly recommend this shirt. Also initially there was a mix up with my first order and I have the say the company was excellent to deal with.
