If you seat belt secure your dog, you will be fine. I do not, and my curious pupper figured out she could get underneath the cover. I ended up getting a seatbelt strap, but it just doesn't work with my pup. (seat belt strap = a seat belt buckle with a clip to attach you dog to.) I ended up getting a different seat cover that zips on the sides and passing this seat cover to my boyfriend for his truck.Besides that, it was a nice seat cover. I did not think it smelt that bad as other reviews have stated. Did not have to remove seat cover for other passengers to sit in my back seat which is convenient.

I have a Standard Poodle puppy and wanted to protect my car when I take her for a ride. This is easy to clean and easy to install. I totally recommend it!

This is a nice heavy material that is well suited for the pup. I like that is rides high between the front seats. Keeps her from trying to be a lap dog while traveling.

It's good sized, covered the back seat and the sides but the material didn't offer much more traction for my big dog than the leather seats underneath, he still had trouble keeping his feet in place even when turning slowly, that's usually how he breaks his nails 😔

We like to take the dogs to the park and to swim in the river and towels just weren’t keeping up and keeping the car clean. We purchased this and so far it’s worked great. It has kept the car (which is new and has leather seats) so much cleaner. It is easy to install, even with just one person. The seatbelt velcro holes can be stubborn to line up, but work fine when a human is back there. My only complaint is that the front portion created a very narrow tunnel for the dogs to sit in and it blocked the front air circulation from the back seat. So we had to lower them and use it as a true seat cover rather than a full protective cover. But great so far. When it’s not installed in the car, the only signs of dog are nose prints on the windows now!

Would have given 5 stars, but I had it for a little over 6 months and eventually my 74 pound Husky busted it. Was a great car seat cover, protected the leather in my back seat from my dog’s nails. Slightly on the thinner side, but did it’s job. I ended up getting a more heavy-duty cover from Amazon since it created such a big hole. Overall, pretty satisfied with this product, but if you have a bigger dog, I would get something more heavy-duty!

I love the design of this. So easy to install and take out. My two dogs must have been a little too heavy for it because it did rip after the first use. Nothing a little duct tape couldn’t fix. My one dog is a puker and the cover is water resistant but not water proof. Some moisture does seep through. For the price it is a steal. Might invest in a more durable model in the future. The hammock design is great.

Not sure about how water proof it is but it did catch all of the hair and kept it off my back seat.

The second time I have tried a product of this type and the material used is not fit for purpose. Any small nick in the material I.e from a fairly blunt dogs claw, instantly turns into a tear that will continue to rip. Do not buy this product.

Fantastic product easy to clean and instal

My dog sheds a lot of long fur and the cover does a good job. This seat cover keeps most of my dog's long fur off the rest of the car, and keeps the car clean and dry. It takes a while to clean the fur off the cover.

I liked how it fit but only lasted one month and now it’s trashed. Definitely not durable and I would not buy again. Perhaps if you have small dogs it would be ok but won’t last for large dogs.
