I received the item with crack in the inside part which makes the transforming between modes difficult and possibly fully damage or break the unit.

Great figure
Quality figure with great detail. Transforming it seems difficult. The first step is to move the antenna ears and they will not budge. After some research I decided to keep him in robot mode. I bought it for the bot anyway.

I want to like this product
I want to like this product, I really do. But even out of the box red paint had chipped off completely on some parts and had rubbed on others. I cleaned up the smears and underneath is a fun figure with a fantastic transformation sequence. However limited mobility and cheap plastic make this a display figure only. It looks great on a stand but will fall over and its stickers peel if even slightly bumped. If you want a cheap Macross figure this is it, but you're getting what you pay for.

Look somewhere else if you're in search of some quality products.-
Dissapointed.- Bought two of them, Max's and Miriya's.... Miriya's came with missing parts. I would buy the Bandai Model instead of this.-

Do not buy this toy
I Loved Robotech as a kid (still do in fact) but the 30th Anniversary toys SUCK, the plastic is cheap and breaks, do not buy this toy

Nice collectible, but not a toy
I received all 4 of the 30th anniversary figured and I collect Robotech things so I did not get this to play with or even to remove from the box but some things to note for all of them in this series: 1. The box does say, right on the front, "Not a Toy For the Adult Collector". This may partially explain why other reviews are saying that it is hard to pose and such, those that would be taking it out of the box would probably set it to our favorite mode and pop it up on the stand and then put it without others. 2. In comparing this to the prior 1/100 scale version from a few years ago the details do seem to be more visible on the older ones, but I am pretty sure that Toynami reused some of the same molds, also the boxes of the prior ones were far cooler by showing all of the accessories with the flip open covers although I think these are far more durable with the smaller windows, but basically it is the same toy as the prior. 3. If you liked Robotech, these collectibles will take you back, they are well done. 4. They are plastic, no metal/Die Cast.

These are mainly only good to display on a shelf (in the box)
These are mainly only good to display on a shelf (in the box). Very fragile. In fact, the leg fell off of one when I opened it to look at them. Was in the package broken.
