Caran d'AcheDesign Eraser for Graphite & color Pencil & Leads Swiss Made (172.420)

At last an eraser that erases color pencils. I have bought almost every eraser on the market looking for one that erases regular color pencils. I use a variety of color pencils none of which are of the erasable genre. I like the Prismacolor Premiern brand for color selection, but the Prismacolor Verithins provide better control for fine work. Unfortunately the Verithins have a limited color selection. I have discovered "meditation" coloring. At sixty and a grandmother, I color with my grandchildren. While fun and rewarding, this is not the coloring of which I write. This coloring for is for me. There are a great many beautiful and challenging coloring books designed for adults here on Amazon and elsewhere. There are also a wide selection of color pencils. For someone just doing this for fun, you cannot get a better deal then the Roseart 100 color pencil pack for $13.95 with free shipping here on Amazon. These pencils are just fine for this hobby. But I do make mistakes frequently, or decide I do not like a color choice. I have tried to erase my errors with limited success. I have tried Prismacolor, Faber Castell, Pentel and Staedtler erasers and many others. None of them work as cleanly as I would like. I have tried all the varying types of erasers within each brand. All left some color and some damaged the paper. At last here is an eraser that is made to erase graphite, color pencils and leads. It is more than worth the price of $4.50. The shipping however is ridiculous for an item that is so lightweight. The erasers can be found at Blick Art Supplies much cheaper, but the flat rate shipping for items under $100.00 is $7.99, which makes them even more expensive then Amazon. On Amazon the shipping and price for 1 eraser runs about $7.99. It is still worth the price. It is the first eraser I have purchased that completely erases non-erasable color pencils. I hope that Caran D'Ache, a Swiss company, will make skinny "clic" type erasers from this same substance to make them even more user friendly at correcting tiny mistakes. I will have to check out local stores to see if they carry this eraser at a more reasonable price. If there is a Blick Art store in your area you are very lucky. Blick also has the most reasonable prices on Prismacolor open stock color pencils. Blick's own brand of color pencils are even cheaper and are of excellent quality. It is just the shipping charge that is painful if you are only buying a few lightweight items. There are sites on Ebay where great deals can be found for color pencils. But if you buy open stock on Ebay, Amazon or anywhere, make sure you find out how many pencils you will be getting. Some dealers sell 1 pencil for more then a set would cost. Rediscover your inner child. Again, Amazon has a huge collection of advanced or adult coloring books. Most are published by Dover and are quite nice and very in expensive. For the best coloring books choose those published by Pomegranate and available here on Amazon. When we use our hands to create, the act opens us up to new possibilities. It is worth a chance just as this eraser is worth the money.

A borracha é excelente, como todos os produtos Caran D'ache. Extremamente macia, apaga grafite sem deixar marcas ou resíduos. Para a escrita achei muito melhor que a famosa Staedtler.

É uma borracha comum. Esfarela um pouco no papel. Produto razoável.
