I bought these to use with the breakfast station I purchased, I washed them first then put them in very hot water so they would take their proper shape after being flattened to fit in the box. Nothing sticks to silicone, apart from egg white, I did grease them with butter first but as I found out not enough. On the second use they worked perfectly,nice poached egg. I'm very pleased with them but they should come with a note to grease them very well.

I use silicone poaching cups regularly and my old cups were needing replaced. These cups are very thin compared to my previous ones, and too easily fold in the water, causing the egg to be misshapen. So I would recommend going to a better quality set - although these are ‘ok’

Ok, abit fiddly to use

Very long cooking time.

Bought these for holiday, but use them at home now, a little rub with oil and the egg just slides out. Come out perfect every time.

The 1 star was for the speedy delivery. They arrived squash and with no instructions, so if I hadn't read the reviews I wouldn't have known to turn them inside out before use. Otherwise they won't sit upright in the water. After 20 minutes the egg yolk and some of the surrounding white were still raw but the outside white was so overcooked it was like rubber. As I bought these for poaching alone, they are useless . I have not used them for anything else, so cannot comment on those options but for poaching they are not fit for purpose.

They certainly work, but no better than a normal poacher, only larger, and you need a bigger pan in which to use them. I went back to the old swirly technique, which is way faster, and uses less water, and involves little cleaning.
