PTO was hit or miss when engaged the day before. Then the next day, nothing. So I checked continuity at the switch and that was the culprit. The switch is easy enough to remove, a regular screwdriver and some wobbling back and forth... Very easy repair.Thankfully this was the problem as I think it's the cheapest fix as well.......Part seems to be identical to the one I removed rather than a cheapo knockoff.It also arrived within 4 days, I think, which is very fast for Amazon Prime. Prime usually takes about a week to get here.Now....back to mowing.

I replaced the switch on a Husqvarna MZ52 mower. The original switch started to shut off while mowing and then wouldn't engage the blades. Both new and old switch has a 8 wire plug. Depending on the mower, not all of the plugs eyelets will be used. Removed the plate cover, unplug the switch, remove the switch by squeezing the clips together, reverse order to install the new switch. This switch works great and was a direct fit. Easy to change and price reasonable. Sooner or later it will stop working again, they all do. I will buy another one of these.

Failed after 1 year of use on a Husqvarna built Craftsman GT5000 lawn tractor. Original lasted 9 years. Enough said.

It's usually either your wiring from this to your clutch or this. You can test the connection with a multimeter through this. If your wires from this to the clutch get caught on a tough weed and come loose then try reconnecting with solder and/or electrical tape. This part may go out at the same time or shortly after because of a short in the wires. Be sure to fix the wires before replacing this so you don't burn it again.

Bought a bunch of them over the last few years they keep burning out . Checked wire connections but that was good frustrating having to replace it every year.

A couple of wires under the mower got cut by the deck pullies somehow and shorted out my switch. This was an OEM replacement and got me back up and running.

Started blades get made two30 yard passes and the knob came out blades quit back to square one . After checking clutch it was not this products fault.

Basically plug and play. It fit right in in place of the original and cured my garden tractors problems with deck engagement issues.

Craftsman man tractor, is working fine.

Was what I needed and am satisfied
